The one on the left was called Oz. (Poncho on the right) Had both of those dogs for 14 years

Coolest dog you'd ever meet. Rescued him from a South Central Los Angeles pound in 1991. I had no intention of getting a dog when I went there to do some research, but I saw him sitting in the back of a kennel and something just grabbed me. Found three bbs under his coat around his neck and head..

He was a very affectionate dog. I give him some credit for the longevity of my marriage, which has lead to two beautiful kids. IMO, a good dog can go a long way toward helping young couples stay together.

I miss that old mutt.

At the time I joined I had just watched the movie "Brubaker" and I off-handedly decided to invent a screename which sounded similiar.

It was December 6th 1969.

i tried using bruce dickinson (cowbell, SNL character) but was told that I couldn't by LHG (for some obvious reasons). so i decided to punish her by choosing the name of a pretty salty d-bag and acting like one. mission accomplished.

A 2006 S197 is what I drive, Red GT Coupe with a longhorn sticker and a Texas flag sticker on the back window, JEB has HOOK EM (he was GUV when I got the plates 3 cars ago so he could have any plate he wanted) so I had to settle for HQQK EM.

I wanted "big dog" when I registered, but it was taken. Tried "Red Dog", but it was taken. Settled on acworthhorn because I was getting pissed off and was exiled in Acworth Georgia at the time.

The Mr Mike part is obvious..I wanted a number that "resignates" something uniquely Austin, hence Kerry Awn and the Uranium Savages.
The sign of the shrine of 709.

fantasy football team name is sunday morning wood. ergo, smwhorn.

It was a bumper sticker I saw on the back of a guys wheelchair while attending a horns game in the FEC in the late 80's. It just said "hooklahoma" and bevos horns impaling the state map of OK.

I'm looking for that sticker, BTW. Never saw one again after that.

My friends started calling me "Muzzler" in college bacause it kind of sounds like my real surname. The name has just stuck over the years.
