And did the news paper on their own decide to print BO was born in kenya in 2004?

Did BO have the paper print a retraction?

If that bio took on a life of its own BO sure did nothing to corrrect it in 16 years and he didn't correct a newspaper article.

Well the theory is he got some kind of foreign student scholarships, but then his college record is some kind of super secret issue of national security so who knows.

As i said when I first posted that idea I was only speculating.
PERHAPS he thought it added a certain cache to his story, kenyan born Harvard educated author.

His agents updated that booklet and not even an idiot supporter would think that for 16 YEARS BO did not read his own bio in his own agents booklet and miss the " error"

for the sake of seeing this " error" from every possible angle let;s excuse BO not correcting the newspaer article. It was a foreign paper albeit the paper from his family country.
and let's say that at that time he did not use a clipping service so he didn't know this was in that paper.

so Mich what would be your thought on why BO let the BIo error go on for 16 YEARS through several updates?

I bet he got preferential treatment for Foreign Admissions and recieved additional Financial Assistance as well.

I would think that is against the schools ethics code and against Federal Law for falsifying an application for Federally funded monies.

BO was a pretty busy guy. I'm not sure where "review bio at book publisher" would have come up as a priority on his daily to do list, what with "write books", "get elected senator", "be a Constitutional Law prof," not to mention smoke breaks, basketball, family, etc.. Unlike others posting here, I'll freely admit I don't know how the book seller's snippets were written or fact checked -- and frankly I'm a little less trusting of short book reviews than I used to be.

The issue is NOT where Bo was born. he was born in Hi.
The issue is why BO let the idea that he was born in kenya go on for so many years.


Only a fool would think BO would never in 16 years read a bio about himself from his agency. Not to mention the other publications that listed kenya as Bo's birthplace. Kenya certainly thought he was native born. They apparently are building a memorial to honor the birthplace of President Barack Obama so he is letting them still think he was born there.
Apparently BO creates himself to suit the occasion.

I don't have a problem with people on here and elsewhere defending their candidate. My main issue is the complicity of the media in all of this.

Ironic that Dan Rather immediately went public with the National Guard fraud but the media today just kind of sits around, hoping anything negative about Obama just goes away.

Look, I understand how hard it would be for me if I was a member of the media and my candidate was being questioned; however, their job is to report the news. It seems as if some shady business from the Obama administration pops up on a weekly basis and, yet, nothing - outside of a few blogs or Fox News - reports it. It's disgusting and I'm somewhat surprised that otherwise levelheaded members on Hornfans continue to defend it.
