Worster,

The Bud was served in frosted pitcher with frosted mugs. It was so cold that their was ice on top. Beer selection was very limited, but Budweiser was on sale for (IIRC) $1.25 a pitcher. Rarely more than a few people in there because it was at 29th & Guadalupe (WAYYYYY FAR north).

Man that beer sounds great right about now....

Yeah, 29th would be a long way to stumble back to campus after a long night of hammering pitchers.

Y’all are a little older than me but lots of great memories. My first Shiner Bock at Huts Hamburgers. 1980, .75 cent mug and a damn fine burger. Not as greasy as Dirtys but still good

Love that little article about the Big XII revenue coming in at $426 million. When they replace the two cash cows with a bunch of "nobody cares", watch that revenue skyrocket to $146 million split a dozen ways, because that Raycom TV package is so huge.
