This kid is stringing us along - he is not serious about UT despite what he says. He will pick USC, L$U or Alabama aggy.

If you read the Ketchum article (Ketch takes Bob Stoops to the Cleaners) in the "On the Field" section you realize that Seastrunk is exactly the kind of guy that Mack will not accept, unless he changes his behavior/attitude.

I noticed he didn't have such a great game against my old high school last week (Cedar Park).

16 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown (with 49 yards coming on the touchdown) doesn't seem good enough for a 5-star recruit.

90 yd KO return and a 48 yd TD run tonight, but few carries overall. Whille easily the fastest player on the field (by far), he is such an undisciplined runner - he'll run 50 yards to make 5 or 50 and lose 10. Temple does a poor job of getting him the ball in space so he always tries to do too much. When he does have some space he makes the defense look silly.

He's good for a highlight a game, but I really doubt he is worthy of the #2 player in the country. That said he would be extremely dangerous in a better offense and should do well wherever he goes. I just don't see him getting more than 15 touches a game at the next level - he is fast, but doesn't appear to like any contact.

The only people being strung along by Seastrunk's comments are some fans.

Unless something reall changes (unlikely), we are not/will not recruit(ing) him, and have not been for awhile.
