Sark getting mad before Alamo game

My point is that I have been in much, much more professional situations where I would have been justified in getting angry, to what one would consider a ‘subordinate’, and the thought of going off on a childlike tirade and then calling this peasant a MFER, never crossed my mind.
I man shows restraint- my rule of thumb is if that was Mike Tyson- or my CEO how would I respond.
I can’t predict how Sark would act if Mike Tyson or CDC did what this peon did, but I’d bet my 401k that he wouldn’t have done that.
I love Sark, yet this is inexcusable.

A loud “Hey- don’t touch me”… ahhh okay. I guess for the emotionally challenged.
Get your fing hands off me , mfer is a line a leader should not pass.

Let me add that parents entrust their most precious possessions, their children, to Texas and Sark. They expect for the HC to a set an example. To be a role model.

Just like any other video that's posted on the internet, it's a few moments in time and we know nothing of what occurred before filming started. You can't even see the ESPN guy's face or hear what he said. Some of you seem surprised a man in his position would use such language. He's not a Sunday School teacher to these kids.

Yeah, he'll probably apologize for his actions either by press release or Twitter. Then he'll ask CDC 'Is that good enough, mother******?'

p.s. The best TexMex is found in Sweetwater, TX. La Cocina on West Alabama Ave. Go on a Wednesday, the special that day is guiso.

Correct and good point … that network guy could have said something.. but George you see the guy say something and Sark nodded… no other words then the explosion.
I doubt that man said “stay back mfer.”.. then Sark reacted.
I’ll stop judging this , but it’s the crazy eye, bowing up coupled with the mfer that I am disappointed in.
Of course I understand and agree that neither Sark or any UT official cares what I think.

Listen, I use language a little, not much. I think we can do better. Do I? Yes, when I get angry.

I remember hell week in my fraternity, initiation night. We've had very little sleep, etc etc, I'm now in a tie and jacket and blind folded. I'm amped. They guys are pushing us and messing with us (in a playful way), but at some point I reached out, grabbed whoever it was in front of me at the time (blind folded) by the lapels, and screamed STOP IT. They were like, "it's ok 'X' we're just playing. it's ok."

I say stop feeling up Sark's left boob and that won't happen.

If we’d won the game we’d all be talking about how salty and fired up he was and love it.

we lost so we’re talking about what a triggered snowflake he is.

Either way it was an over-reaction and it was way beneath someone in his station to act that way. Get a grip Sark. Don’t be an insecure man-baby and start taking care of your business on the field.

If this upsets "The Mannings" to where that guy de-commits, they are World Class Titty Babies. Agree with moondog, probably this was a church sermon compared to what they have heard.

I only thought it wold have been better with with a wrist/joint lock takedown. That will diffuse a person really quick.

No way a 'Manning' would ever even think of using salty language.

First - the Daily Mail is an utter joke folks. Its been deemed an unreliable source on a number of occasions. Per Wikipedia - “As a result, the Daily Mail should not be used for determining notability, nor should it be used as a source in articles. An edit filter should be put in place going forward to warn editors attempting to use the Daily Mail as a reference.” Even TMZ is probably saying - man, that is one serious trash media source.

Second, this whole deal with Sark and the guy who groped him like a weirdo is just more pile on fodder from longhorn haters out there (Tech fans are even pairing it with Beard's problems to try to invent a narrative of an anger mgmt prob at UT). It doesn't bother me at all, nor would it have bothered me if another coach had done it. We've seen coaches get mad in the heat of the moment for years. As long as no one got assaulted and no crime was committed, then who cares. We need to support our own because lord knows, no one else on social media will do so. It really is Texas vs. the world out there, and the perception of this non-story is just another example of that. Sark didn't like being felt up and I don't blame him.

Here is the video. We know the audio.
"Don't F****N' touch me again MOTHERF****R'"
Judge for yourself.
Sark can do whatever he wants, but I, for one, don't like it.
Strange behavior from my vantage point. Not my sort....
I dont get it...just look at his face and in his eyes....weird...
Your posts were spot on, NR...as usual.

The players are young men, all over the age of 18. “Protecting” these men from foul language or angry bosses is laughable.

Sark lost his cool on tv. Minor infraction. Very minor infraction.

The folks that are aghast here. Have you ever sent a son or daughter to military boot camp? For that matter, have you ever dropped a kid off at the mall and picked them up at the food court later?

I'm not sure many here are arguing this^^^^, Chop.
Just giving their/our personal view on the behavior itself..thats all. At least...thats my own view.
I was raised by a 1st Class Seargent and Army Ranger (whom I never heard utter one cuss word, btw) and like a little in your face militant stuff.
This just looks odd to me..especially given the apparent circumstances. ..but whatever.....I guess.

To be clear....in spite of the personal views I hold....no...shouldn't go too far with criticism of this.....in the big scheme...fire him or coaches cant act that way....no....just no. Not on that level. Just odd and not very honorable in my humble opinion. But....anything beyond that making some humongous deal of it.....NO.

Not the worst thing in the world, but very Hermanesque, for sure. He apologized for the abandoning the Eyes after a loss and now this.

Don't like the pattern.

Sark was cool with it until the pushback went too far. He had adrenaline going. It’s par for the course. Guess what else he does? He tells young folks to hit other people hard, very hard.

I am not a Sark fan as our coach. I don’t dislike him personally, just think he is a perfect example of the Peter principle. But I thought he used more restraint than I would. My first reaction would be to slap his hand off me. Not sure what would happen next, but he wouldn’t have had his hand on me like that for as long a Sark put up with it. Cursing this jerk was probably a much restrained reaction.

Bush League, false motivation. Way over the top /unnecessary reaction. Gives the appearance that his back is up against a wall and freaking out a bit. Win some damn games in the clutch, dude. Get fired up at your prima donna player who can’t catch a cold.
Maybe he had been reading the bulls- - t he gets by some on Hornsfans from everything he does to include having his wife on the sideline.
The asshat got what he deserved. He had no right to try to push the head coach back, especially in front if his players. He had already said something to him and that was enough. Quite frankly I like my coach to have a little fire in his belly. But then I am from an era when coaches raised hell and treated players who misbehaved like the dogs we were.

Referee has to step in and try to calm down sark. Embarrassing. For sark, not the University.

George, I was dropped off at MCRD 1981 and that’s different. The DIs were there to separate those who didn’t want to be there.
Once you achieve the status and graduate- our leaders treated us with respect in the field.
BTW, I also , at the time, could not complete a sentence without a version of the F word. Noun, verb, adjective, adverb and sometimes as a one word sentence. I’m no prud.
but at 18 I knew there was a time and a place.

Yeah, I get that, I did 26 years in Uncle Sam's Canoe Club.

But still, don't put your hands on another man's chest. Would I have reacted the way Sark did? I don't know, I wasn't in his moment. I'll bet he regrets it, but at the same time I'll bet it doesn't change his mind about being touched like that.

Understood… doesn’t change my man crush on Sark.
