Sark getting mad before Alamo game

Not a good look…at all. That’s a side I had never seen, or anticipated. Disappointing, regardless of the emotion of the moment.

Sark really made a big mistake, but those TV clowns think they rule the world and are in total control. Their stupid *** halftime questions are irritating at best and usually moronic. Our SID needs to set the rules and ESPN needs to abide by them.

Folks are misinterpreting what happened here. That guy was just arguing with Sark about where the best Mexican food in Texas was—San Antonio or Austin.

Agree with Sabre, these TV asses all think they gotta get an audio reaction, headline or social media sensation to be somebody!!

I detest those halftime questions. It’s stupid and pointless.

I hate the woke world we live in. I also agree with Sabre. I’m not the Head Coach of the University of Texas, but don’t put your hand on my chest like you own me. I’m glad he didn’t punch him.

I am a huge Sark supporter, but
His overreaction to a minor incident seems like he has a lack of maturity.
Folks - he called that guy a mfer and bowed up on him.
Sark needs to take a step back and revalute himself.
This is BS.
I’m sure this guy was just waiting to get the go ahead to let them out- he wasn’t pushing- just had his hand up.

I would expect a leader to show better control over something like this.
I get it if the person was actively pushing or being aggressive… but only one person was. Sadly it was our guy.

Really?
This is a big deal?
Coach is fired up.
Team is fired up.
Emotions are at a peak and this clown thinks he has the right to put his hands on Sark and push him back?
If Sark was a woman the guy would be charged with assault. :D
Glad to see Sark has some fire.
Nothing to see here.
Keep on moving.

Sark should've punched his face in. :catfight:

But seriously, I not on the Sark bandwagon, but I'll file this in the category of so what.

The dude touched him, groped him, and then kept pushing him back.. all while Sark is just standing there not pressing forward. I would have had enough of it also. Dude get your hands off me..! I’m sure it was loud and chaotic. Not sure either person was clear headed during that incident.

The only thing I’m 100% sure about here is that none of us here know the circumstances or what all went on there. Given that, I’ll go with Sark.

Bush League, false motivation. Way over the top /unnecessary reaction. Gives the appearance that his back is up against a wall and freaking out a bit. Win some damn games in the clutch, dude. Get fired up at your prima donna player who can’t catch a cold.

100% agree.

Neither El Jacalito in Bandera.
Houston can give any city in this state (including San Antonio) a run for the $ on where the best Mexican food is.

What Sark did was dumb, but that’s nothing compared to things Woody Hayes did, and he’s in the hall of fame. Supposedly John McKay was also something of a horse’s rear end, and I think he has 3 national championships and is in the hall of fame.

A minor error here. A cheap traffic ticket, not a felony. Be better next time. That’s all.

All you see is a reaction. No where do you see what led up to that reaction. And the article was written in such a way that you can't determine what prompted the response. I call it sensationalist journalism (what isn't these days) and not place blame on Sark. Show the entire confrontation or the report gets no credit from me.

I’ll modify my initial take, slightly. After watching the video about ten times, it does appear that the TV guy was (quite oddly) groping him. Weird sh**. Sark had every right to melt down, but his use of expletives was unwarranted, embarrassing, and way over the top. A terrible example.

Reading the responses on social media this morning, it seems like every other comment is assuming that he is drinking again. True, some of those people are probably 15 (or 30) and living in their parent’s basements. Regardless, that is what many are thinking.

Finally - and MOST importantly — what are the Manning’s thinking this morning? More than anything else, that might be most important assessment of the impact of what we saw.

Much ado about nothing is what they probably think.
They've played for plenty of foul mouthed coaches, I'm sure.
Sark didn't hit the guy.
This wasn't a Will Smith slap moment.
A guy put his hands on Sark at a moment of high emotional intensity and Sark told him not to do that again in no uncertain terms.
Can't believe it's getting this much traction.

I hope you’re right.
