RP gone -updated-

I'm gonna head over to Texags on this one. They can come up with some funny **** sometimes on stuff like this. They hate him over there.

The obsession continues.......... However, I hope he ends up doing something positive with his life. He would have fit in here nicely with all of our players that have failed drug tests.(sarcasm)

montag, what is "the white horse"? "Horse" used be a euphemism for heroin. I seriously doubt RP was doing heroin. Are you referring to coke?

Disclaimer: Rumor! RUMOR! RUMOR!!!!

I'm hearing from LSU friends that RP's family has already hired a lawyer and will be going public with recruiting violations. Supposedly a booster funneled all sorts of $$$ to RP's family. The kicker is that the booster recently died. The family has been holding this threat over Les Miles' head for some time now, which explains a lot.

This whole deal is LSU's worst nightmare.

I just don't understand some people. I would have loved to have been a 5* QB coming out of high school. Probably the most popular kid in his high school class, could probably have his choice of females to date, free college education, a chance to play college football at an SEC school, free tutors and all of the other perks of being an athlete---thrown away. I know his dad died, but from everything else I've heard, it sounds like he was dealt a pretty good hand in life. If I had his type of opportunities, I would have done everything I could not to screw it up.

if it was really blow, what an idiot. that **** is out of your system in a couple of days. as much shady **** as goes down there, I seriously doubt the drug test was "random".

I've heard that was somewhat of a motivation to not kick him off earlier is that his mom has threatening to blackmail LSU with whatever RP accepted/LSU booster gave./improprieties. It's been kicked around, we'll see now if it has legs.
