I just noticed this thread -- I had this problem on saturday as well, and it only happened when I visited hornfans. The program that comes up is a fake anti-virus program called "Vista Antivirus 2008," and it runs a phony system scan that supposedly finds viruses for which you "need" to buy their anti-virus program.
After searching around on the internet, I found this free program that targets this malware: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware . Seems to have worked for me, although there's always the possibility that this program is also bad in some way. It appears to have been recommended a lot on various websites, though, so I decided to try it.
