Rats From a Sinking Ship

I stay out of respect for the players that never give up. The fans that leave early have the same amount of intestinal fortitude as a player that gives up when he's getting his *** whipped. If you don't have any problem sharing the victory, then you shouldn't have a problem sharing the loss.

As far as I'm concerned the season is over, but I'll still be there in my seat to the bitter end. I hope we never win another home game this season just so we can rid ourselves of the quitters.

Leaving early is weak. Weak teams are a reflection of their weak fans. Now GTFO of my stadium.

Hell, I hope we lose every game for the next 5 years, just to weed out all the quitters, crappy fans, and even some of the good but not really hard-core true fans. Maybe by 2016 we'll be playing home games at House Park for only the really really really really devoted fans.

When you spend what we do for tickets, you have the right to leave whenever you damn well please. Sometimes my time is better spent elsewhere...If you are a better fan, pat yourself on the back...maybe DeLoss will present you a plaque at halftime of the Baylor game.

Watching fumbles, picks, missed tackles, sideways passes, and our opponent celebrate is not something I'm into...I left -and had every right to whenever I'm inclined to do so.

The rise in the "I pay a lot of money so if the team doesn't meet my expectations then **** 'em" attitude is in direct proportion to the number of tailgates right next to the stadium full of people who don't go to the games. Once again, UT games have become a social/business event, the only difference is now there's a lot more people wearing orange...

All you so called super fans good for you. I guess you want a medal or something. That and 50 cents might get you a cup of coffee at 7-11. Despite what you think, you make no difference and are no better than the rest of us

Can't we get some sit down/stand up hatred going on this thread as well? Jesus, it's like you people aren't even trying anymore...

Is it too much to ask that the players don't quit on the loyal fans? I think most fans can handle a loss if it appears that the players and coaches are putting up a good fight.

I was not playing, therefore, I could not have quit.

Congratulations on your self-proclaimed super-fan status. Your righteous indignation is coming across as very aggy-like. All us 2%-ers should uncover, get off the wood, and squeeze at your greatness.

This thread is a much bigger statement about the need for gun control than I could ever come up with. Jeeeez. It's a ******* football game. Some amount of medication and therapy will help. I promise.

There's something about those who feel it important to state how much they spend on the school's athletics. Bravo to that ego of yours. I commend it to no end because obviously you feel this to be important. However the more direct & bitter comments have come from those who chose to leave early. Go back & read, the true facts don't lie.

Why is this?

^ I think it is like when you see a guy my age (55) and 20 pounds over wieght driving a red Corvette. It's like, "dude, sorry to hear about your penis".

I noticed that both the upper and lower sections of UCLA fans were in the sun the entire game and stayed for the blowout. Props to them
