Random Season News

I haven't read the report, but is that 18 violations total or 18 per recruit? With Pruitt and the Haslams you never know.

Didn't TT announce 220 million for new facilities.
10 million for a new "state of the art development center?
What? A converted container with window air conditioner mini fridge and new Xbox AND Playstation?

How do you even get caught in this day and age?

As soon as Tennessee got a whiff of what was going on they started an internal investigation, reported it to the NCAA and fired that jack wagon. The funny part about this is that it was 18 MAJOR violations mostly around $60,000 in illegal spending on recruits and contacting them during dead periods. $60k now is chump change for one player much less on several recruits over multiple years.

I personally like a little militant style motivation....but I dont "cuss" and never heard a single cuss word uttered on either side of my family in my life.
Having said this...there is a time and a place to let the fire inside you, some righteous indignation, fly....in whatever manner you deem appropriate and necessary to hit home.
I loved Bo's rant the moment I heard it and believe only in this snowflake world would it even be really questioned. If any "kids"(should be adults but most are still kids in this day) melted from this, well....there ya go...problem revealed...is my view. Bo's "vicious attack" struck at the real problem and it isnt people with hurt feelings over harsh language. It struck right at the character, virtue, maturity, and wisdom of the hearer and begged a testing.

I understand some of you disagree with this.

In case you doubt or are on the fence......

That is for one year, right?
so in other years with the game away in WVa for instance OSU would travel more.

That all will change for most schools soon

Question on NIL
Do the players get it every year? Will they renegotiate based on how they did? What if they red shirt?
How many schools can have enough big boosters to do this year after year?
Thinking of a school south of Dallas who had boosters commit NIL money to every recruit. Did any current players get NIL deals?
Are the boosters rich enough to pay them next year And make NIL deals with the next group of recruits?

I suspect every contract has different terms and conditions though they start with a similar template. Typical contract length for me is 100-150 pages and every word is negotiated.

Incompetent administration. Trying to tell employees what they can and can't believe, interfere with their religious beliefs - "Bill, you really need to tone down that thing you started".

Then, there is the long-standing recruiting technique (dating to early 70s) of top recruits visit consisting of 48 hours locked in a ski lodge with a blonde, meeting the head coach at Folsom for 45 minutes Sunday afternoon before flying home.

Go Tech!

If they did transfer portal rankings, I'd bet we would have seen Dallas Football on there the last few years.
