First time Texas is higher in coaches poll than AP poll, I believe.

Even if we win out, no guarantee we’re in. Not sure they would put us in over a one loss Ohio State and/or Georgia. Would they leapfrog Bama over us if they beat Georgia? Then the strong possibly of an undefeated Florida State and Washington. I think we would jump a one loss Michigan, though. A lot of football yet to be played.

Every team above us (individually) could have 2 losses or 0 losses. Lots of ball to play.

My guess is that the raters think KSU is underrated, based on recent games. And I think they're right - KSU will be a very tough opponent on Saturday.
