Which has what to do with the temperature in Austin on gameday?
I thought you guys were talking time zones...state of awareness...not temperature. I was figuring an 11:00 kickoff is like 9:00 am to a West Coast team and like noon to Maryland. I see you were thinking temperatures. My apologies. :)

No apology necessary. The post I quoted mentioned both.

I'm under. I think 8.

Very willing to be proven wrong, however.
You've got me thinking now. Let's see....

Maryland W payback
Tulsa W lookin forward but not that much
USC W do what we should have done
TCU L one more year to climb this
Kansas State W too much for the Wiz
Oklahoma W new OU QB gets rattled
Baylor W not exactly like old times, but...
Oklahoma St. W shouldve last 2yrs & will
West Virginia L hardest pick here
Texas Tc W to prove whos who after that
Iowa State L a team on the rise IMO
Kansas W this isn't basketball

So what's that??
9 wins

Swap the OU and ISU games and I'll agree with you. ISU has Kempt coming back for his 13th year of college, but they lost every receiver who torched OU. We get them at home late in the season as well, and hopefully our D is healthy and gets to them as hard as they did in Ames last year.

I think OU's QBs run against us. Murray might end the game with <100 yards passing but I think he'll be able to take off against our overly-aggressive style. We had trouble stopping Delton at home last year... and Murray is like twice the athlete as him.

USC, OK State, and WVU should all be considered tossups. I think getting WVU at home tends to cover up some of the flaws we exhibited before Grier left the game last year. OK State has been the bug up our butt lately, so they're the more likely culprit for a L.

I'd put really safe money on 7 regular season wins, not so safe money on 8, and no money on 9 with that schedule.

Not even if they payed 10 quarters. A fifth quarter quarter would just increase the Aggies margin of loss.

Then the NCAA just needs to lift the limit on quarters. Basically the games go as long as they need to in order for the Aggys get the time they need.

Just reminded me, remember Franchione asking for the clock to run during a 70 point loss to OU? It seems that the clock is always working against poor aggy whether its running too fast or too slow.

ou released the hounds that day.

I had never seen a coach let the clock run on a college level before or since then. If Stoops had not agreed to the clock run and didn't call off the hounds, the land thieves would have scored 100+ that day.

Poor aggy!!!
