Let’s wait until spring practice starts. It will be a source of amusement during offseason. You’ve earned this proud distinction!

For whatever reason the team was afraid of ou. I would drop ou from the list and add ISU.Baylor, TCU and OU games still bother me, though.
I believe to this day what we saw in Dallas was part of the beginning crescendo of the behind the scenes drama that was taking place and it had them beat before kickoff. For whatever reason the team was afraid of ou. I would drop ou from the list and add ISU.
That is fine, MC; but, as long as you're wearing it, we will expect translations from you on any further confusing, bemusing, unclear or otherwise potentially antagonistic posts from Sabre.Let’s wait until spring practice starts. It will be a source of amusement during offseason.
Well, I was referencing in particular the failure of blocking schemes. But ISU was no merit badge, for sure. For whatever reason the team was afraid of ou. I would drop ou from the list and add ISU.
IT calls the 2020 OL as follows --
Cosmi - Angilau - Kerstetter - Okafor - C. Jones
Does Kerstetter go to RT if Majors earns a starting role this fall? Who is C #2?
So Hand was not the problem last year, it was scheme? Baylor, TCU and OU games still bother me, though.
I'm hoping Tyler Johnson can win the starting right guard position. Okafor is a guy I like coming off the bench as a 6th man. ...
Jonah Miller does not seem to care. Some OL recruits still want to be coached by Hand. I think it is a little more nuanced than one season's W-L record. Even Alabama's W-L record fell below their talent expectations.Looks we have 9 guys for a rotation -- those 5 (Cosmi, Angilau, Kerstetter, Okafor, C. Jones) plus R. Ghirmai, Hookfin, T. Johnson and Moore. Which should be enough to let us RS all 4 incoming freshman (Majors, Parr, Garth, Karic). That is not bad and I would argue it is better OL depth than we have seen these last 10 years. But it's still little light IMO. I would rather see us at or close to 18 OLs total.
Warning, whine now coming -- This is the thing about the team on the field last season. The 2021 class is stacked with top shelf OLs (best in-state in a decade or more). Everyone knew this going into the 2019 season. All we had to do was have a good season and we would be in a perfect position to absolutely clean up with an OL recruiting class for the ages. But we shanked it. And now we are scrambling just to try and hold a pair of high-ranked double-legacies who grew up bleeding orange. So not only was last year a bad season in and of itself (the bowl win helped some) but the ramifications will potentially last much longer for us than just that one season on the field. And possibly could even end up costing us yet another coaching regime.

You should probably drop it and wash your damned hands!if it looks like dog poop and feels like dog poop...
Too bad, his speed could be a great asset
Hopefully he gets whatever it is corrected

I think Majors at Center is the only one with a longshot chance of playing 4 games this year.If the part in the post just above about about Willie Tyler having shown solid improvement is true then it would bump our OL rotation from 9 to 10 players. Which is even better and will only help with the idea of RSng all 4 of the freshmen. It feels like we have been forced into starting true freshmen OLs for way too long.

i pooped on you in jest
Is shanking the Brocks an inevitability?I think shanking the Brocks will look like and feel like a disaster given the legacy angle even if we were able to land other OTs comparable to Tommy.
In any event, speaking of Miller, here is IT/Wells --
Jonah Miller, 6'8, 300, Salpointe (Tucson, AZ) ---
After a big season in 2019, Miller is looking to slim down and get his body reshaped for his final year at Salpointe Catholic. "My plan over the offseason is to kind of shred some baby fat off and get just overall faster, more lean," said Miller. "I want to work more on my footwork and master those fundamental skills to push my game further than it already is.“
Miller holds offers from the top west coast programs - Oregon, Washington, USC - as well as Florida and Tennessee. While the Ducks are the school to watch out west, he's still has eyes for Texas.
“Texas is one of my top schools," said Miller. "The program speaks for itself. It would be great to maybe be a part of the rebuilding they are doing."
Playing with former five-star teammate and current Texas signee Bijan Robinson isn't too shabby either. “Austin is one of my officials," Miller said. "I've been twice and can't wait to get back."
This dude is all Texas. In 2021, the OL numbers will be interesting. I could see at least five, maybe six takes in this cycle. Miller might be a bird in the hand.
