Orlando said recently Dele has been faster and is moving better (all about the hips). With the depleted LB corps, we need this to be true.

"Over the summer, Oklahoma quietly pulled running back Kennedy Brooks from the roster, then quietly reinstated him. The school, it turned out, was conducting a Title IX investigation into accusations of domestic violence against Brooks, but found sufficient evidence to reinstate him to the school and the team.

The story, however, isn’t over.

On Friday night, Brooks’ accuser, Oklahoma student Mallory Jech, published a series of, frankly, disturbing tweets, accusing him of conducting a campaign of physical, mental and emotional abuse over the course of their relationship. Her account is now private, but OU Insider obtained the transcript of the tweets....."​

Joe i'm certain you know that Kennedy Lewis is the Freshman wide receiver for Texas...as opposed to Kennedy Brooks at OU...might want to post an apology to the young man.

I was listening to ESPNU radio on SiriusXM at lunch. They said Tre Norwood started all 14 games last year, was OU's leading tackler, biggest DB with longest arms, and best defensive player. Huge loss for OU's defense.
 
For a while I have believed Duvernay is way under used in the O. Kid is very athletic, good size, elite hands & speed, gets open & great YAC.

I think he will do great things this season if they put and keep him as slot WR and GET HIM THE BALL !! :hookem:
 
IMHO Duvernay has been grossly underutilized.

On the one hand, him and Heard both.

On the other hand, there's only so many receptions out there and Johnson/Humphrey sure took up a lot of them (although Heard in particular didn't get used in other ways like he could have, but Duvernay could have been dangerous on jet sweeps and reverses also).

My complaint was that Duvernay was on the sideline as we march down the field. Then he goes in when we reach the red zone. Why? I wanted his great speed and deep threat in the middle of the field, not in short control situations.
