I've been saying something like this since he decommitted about a week after Quinn announced his transfer to Texas. Quinn had done nothing at that point and Milroe didn't want to compete for the job. To me that's pretty soft minded and was glad he left.

His transferring out was not a competition issue. This was a Tom Herman issue. He bold face lied to Milroe. Its no coincidence that Quinn decommitted only 2 months after committing to UT.

Milroe had been recruiting for Tx up to the time he decommitted.
I have no issue with the kid and wish he would have followed Sark from Alabama back here.

So you're saying the timing was pure coincidence?
 
I'm saying Herman lied to a kid that had been promoting UT from the time he committed. Most coaches let a kid know if they are actively pursuing others at his position.

Ewers smelled the sleaze factor and bailed after only 2 months.
 
Wow, great read from Cj. Met him at the meet and greet at the coop. When I said to him you are coming back next year right, his reply was a non hesitant “yes sir, no doubt”. Liked him immediately.

AMEN!

The kid was Burnt Orange completely. First Katy ISD QB to beat Gary Joseph's vaunted defense. Spent time every day calling other recruits for the Longhorns. Great athlete; great young man. His leaving was clearly on our lack of character from our lack of a head coach.

I have and shall continue to cheer for the young man. This is another "legacy" from Billie Powers.
