The Biden docs are plants. So they're saying they found docs in succession in a week's time? And held them so the voting populace wouldn't know they existed until after mid terms?

We live in a banana republic. Too many folks are comfortable with that reality

A third batch of classified documents was found at President Biden's residence in Wilmington, Delaware, the president's attorneys announced Saturday.

Special Counsel to the president Richard Sauber disclosed in a statement that five additional pages of documents with classified markings were found at Biden's home Thursday evening, making a total of six classified documents retrieved from there.

He hasn't implied ANYBODY specifically. All he has done is made stupid, unsubstantiated conspiratorial allegations.

What people do with those allegations, and how they choose to fill in the blanks, is up to them. You, of course, immediately fill in the blanks exactly as he hoped. You do it to defend Republicans, others will do it to attack them.

I choose not to play the game and comment at all, one way or the other. In fact, I hadn't heard the first thing about Johnson's statements until you brought them here, which is why I asked my first question in post 424.

Johnson's comments were all over talk radio Friday. Dan bongino, and ernie (wbap). On hannity, tucker, Newsmax TV.

It is illegal, full stop, for the VP to have classified documents in their personal possession. It doesnt matter what the reason is. Biden has had these for years. At least the president, which Trump was when he took his documents, has the power to declassify whatever he wants... Biden never had that power. If you're gonna try to charge Trump with a crime, you have to charge Biden.

Fair enough. I still never heard them. For one thing I was working, and I have been avoiding political talk radio for the last year and a half as much as I can.
 
In addition to most of talk radio Hank Johnson's interview was all over the media and net including but not limited to
MSN, FOX, Washington Times, NYPost, Washington Examiner,Mediate, Breitbart,Bizpacreview,The Blaze etc etc

Setting party affiliation aside, who the hell decided it was OK for politicians to permanently remove official documents (classified or not) from the White House or any federal office? None of this belongs to them. It belongs to the taxpayer. Leave it at work. But it gets shrugged off. Democrats do it. Republicans do it. Why the hell is it OK for either one?

The only exception I can see is if its declassified but I honestly agree. Declassify it and then publicize it but no need to keep it in your home closet.

Mar A Lago built by the military from the DOD budget as the Southern White House. That’s what Trump is saying above. He’s still Commander in Chief! His words stand alone. In other posts I’ve mentioned his executive orders, The military code of justice, and the Stafford Act. Going to be an interesting year. Trump replaces Biden as President at some point.

Why should they if it's declassified? It doesn't belong to them. There are two angles here. There's the national security angle, but there's also the, "it isn't friggin yours" angle.

I don't know the nuance of the law here. If its declassified then its fit for public consumption, right? Why not just make copies? What makes declassified documents so important? What are the rules on this?

I'm no expert on the laws on this. However, if you're taking originals of any document, you're taking something that doesn't belong to you. I would be surprised if that's legal.
 
Biden etc does not seem to be saying the many docs being found at Biden's places were declassified. His defense seems to be he did not know. So far Demx have not been able to comer up with a "plausible" reason they were there

In another development. Hunter paid rough $50 k A MONTH for a room in same house where Joe was storing docs. Hunter Biden recorded monthly rent payments of $49,910 while living at President Joe Biden’s residence, according to a document unearthed by New York Post’s Miranda Devine.

Although this link also says Hunter owned the house?? AND the docs stored there included docs on Ukraine and Iran
