Way to bring Alex over to the darkside!

I have one like that of Bode Miller and me, flashing the horns, immediately after which he says -- "Thats the sign of the devil son."

I trust Alex didnt say that.

At first Alex did it normal, then he flipped it around and I was like "thats actually rock on" so he put it back to hook em

Well, it's more like this: you look young, but you look young in the way that people who look younger than they are look young, so I guessed that you were a bit older than you looked.

I'm not coming back to this thread until after I watch my DVR tonight. I don't want anyone spoiling it for me.

I am going to watch it as well and if Longhorny did not find a way to work in "Hook 'em" at some point during the show, I am going to be very disappointed in him and will question his commitment to our fine university.

A- this makes it very unlikely that someone would do poorly on a game show and then publicize the airing of the show.

Q- What is human nature?

freakin dvr didn't record.
any replays late night??

Just finished watching it. Great game and you kicked some ***, but Dawn really needs to learn some game theory on her final jeopardy wagering.

Was anyone giving titmouse a hard time or is that something they just did not mention again backstage?

Haha, yah, I'm a regular Jeopardy watcher so betting strategy was something I was familiar with, and even so I still went over to a betting strategy guide to get better at it.

It's kinda funny actually, as soon as you lose, they call you a cab and you are gone, so Carl (aka titmouse) wasn't around once I defeated him. Back at the hotel where all the contestants stay, the whole day's events were discussed which mostly involved people saying "oh i got that one, didnt know that one, what was she thinking, titmouse was really funny" so we all kinda laughed about it. Once I got the call to play though, titmouse didn't cross my mind until I lost (that is, if I lost).

Not to diminish the coolness of this thread in any way but I'm old enough to remember the Art Fleming Jeopardy! years where the questions were much more difficult.

Nowadays, a lot of the questions have the answer somewhat embedded within the question( or vice-versa). As in Missouri's state tree, flowering, woof woof, kind of stuff.

Congratulations Mike! Well played sir, well played.

I assume we can continue watching you for as long as this trip rides...

Congrats, you really did well both answering the questions and betting. Its a lot easier to answer questions when you are in your living room than in a studio audience with hot lights and trying to time the clicker while searching the inner recesses of your brain to remember something you learned in 10th grade. Well done, hope you continue to win!

Thank you thank you, I owe a lot of it to a pretty bad wager on Dawn's part, but she was very nice after the show and seemed to take it pretty well.

btw, here is the show on youtube. part 1
part 2

i do, game 2. although for me it airs in a couple hours. i would be pissed if i had to wait til 11:40pm in houston to watch it, that is by far the weirdest time in the entire country that jeopardy airs i think
