They will go after the licensure of any doc performing the procedure. And, honestly, they should. If it's against the state law it's against the state law and a medical provider licensed by the state should lose their license doing it.

I assume DAs gets to use the 'we're too busy to take that case' argument on anything they dislike. But agree they belong in jail just like the clerk who refused gay wedding certificates seven years ago.

There has to be a pending case for a judge to hold someone in contempt. Ultimately, the remedy for this is at the ballot box. However, the DAs are doing this for a reason. Their constituencies want it. It's kinda ironic. For the last five years, all I heard about was how Trump and Republicans were a threat to the "rule of law." In reality, they were the bigger threat.
