President Biden Accountability Thread

@Garmel and @LonghornCatholic

I'm shocked that you guys disagree with me and side with Jen Psaki on something. That's rare.

I'm not siding with Psaki. I just think it's a breakdown in decorum. I don't think it's illegal or should be punished. However, it's led to reporters now shouting questions at inopportune times when politics shouldn't be involved.

Who are you?

You have been hacked.

Deez, now I want to go back to our post-election posts between you and I where I said Trump lost because the professional class who abandoned Trump was duped by the media. You blamed Trump himself and I blamed folks too stupid to fall for the media manipulation. This Sam Harris tweet encapsulates the issue. Was he duped or he couldn’t take Trump anymore? I will leave it at that and not re-litigate it.

Since Biden took office, almost all the public emphasis from the military has been on wokeness - ostracizing people of the Right, saying there was a lot of "extremism" (with focus pretty much entirely on right wing extremism) to deal with, pushing "equity," and virtue signaling on gay and trans issues.
Guess I'm really a dinosaur.
When I was in the military, our focus was on military preparedness. We were taught that the US military has two primary objectives - (1) present a well-trained, capable threat to any and all potential foes, sufficient to convince them that we had the military capability to destroy them and the will to use it if necessary (deterrent), and (2) in the event we have to use military force, to use it quickly and effectively to destroy the enemy's capability and will to fight. All other considerations were secondary to the mission.
It now appears that I'm totally out of touch with the administration's view of the military. How sad!

I don't necessarily disagree. However, we're way past that. It happened routinely under Trump, and from time to time it happened under his predecessors. It is bad form, but it's a practice that's pretty common and not likely going away anytime soon.

I don't think you're out of touch with 95 percent of people in the military (enlisted or officers). I've routinely been around military people for ten years. Very few that I've met are woke or even very political either way - even members who are "POC." I think the upper civilian authorities (including the Commander in Chief) are allowing political priorities to dictate matters more than they should.

And let's be honest. Most of what the military is actually spending time on is legitimate stuff. They're doing the ideological, political ******** as little as possible and as ordered by doofuses. However, the reason why the question at issue was fair game is that the PR focus of DoD has been politically correct, woke horse ****. They've put out the perception that such crap has been their priority.

All the Biden voters need to give themselves a round of applause.... In only 8 months we have major issues with crime, inflation, gas prices, energy independence, border problems, supply chain, covid variants, Afghanistan and now he has brought back ISIS. Pretty soon the North Korean is going to jack with us again.
In 3 years y'all will be begging on your knees on broke glass for Trump.

WTH??
Pentagon spokeperson admitted THOUSANDS of ISIS prisoners were released from Bagram prison when we bugged out .
INSANE
ALL ON BIDEN et al

Excerpt from the cites tweet link:
"Sentiment is that Kamala will at least make lucid decisions."
That would be a significant change - she hasn't made a lucid decision yet.
