WTF!!!!!
This WAS the mission Statement of US Citzenship and Immigration Services
"U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services administers the nation’s lawful immigration system, safeguarding its integrity and promise by efficiently and fairly adjudicating requests for immigration benefits while protecting Americans, securing the homeland, and honoring our values."

But as of Wednesday morning, the page was updated with its new, Biden-ized mission statement, and the agency's director tweeted out what the administration seems to think is a good idea and use of government resources and manpower.

The Border Patrol has gone from a law enforcement organization, to keep foreigners from illegally entering the US, to a Wal Mart greeter with a clipboard of welfare, earned income credit, and voter registration forms to hand out to anyone who walks across the border, into the welcoming arms of some crooked church outfit that gets a per head bounty by the government to whisk them away to electoral battleground states.

If you think the ruling class hates the average American, and wants to replace their voice and vote with 2 Hondurans who don't speak English and write Spanish at 4th grade level - you'd be right.

The immigration or invasion as I call it will turn Texas blue sooner than we think! This must be stopped. We cannot let them destroy our State. I’m voting for Don Huffines for Gov. Abbott must go!

But does mention "clean syringes" as part of taxpayer paid free drug kits.

They were caught and are now trying to backtrack with the help of the MSM to say this was all a right wing lie.

Immigration is important to me also. but what exactly is it that you think Huffines can/will do that is so different than Abbott?

I would say sending 2/3s of the Texas National Guard to the border is devoting state resources to it. In a huge way. I think Abbott did the wrong thing, but he did do a big thing. And despite my desire to secure the border, devoting 2/3's of the guard to the border was not a good move. it was way too much. and they are the wrong people to do it. They could have gone with a much smaller force and demonstrated the same points. If I were in charge, I would make a separate Texas Border Patrol that would be separate from ICE, etc. Obviously it couldn't be huge at this point for funding reasons, but it would do more politically than engaging the National Guard.
 
He sent 2/3 of the National Guard to do what? Stand around with their hands tied? Or empowered to enforce border law. Abbott is great at "doing things" for show. He does things he can promote on a surface level that isn't what he promised or people expected.

I agree deploying 2/3s TXNG was the wrong tactic but what has Huffines indicated he would do. He talks a strong immigration game but I haven't heard any proposals that make me think he has any other ideas.
 
What actually could the TXNG do? They can't arrest or force illegals back across can they?
Are we(Texas) building parts of the wall?
I read that Texas got permission to build the wall on tribal lands.

True, but offended whites say it can’t be spoken ever regardless of context (at least for folks they want to cancel) though black folks use it all the time.

True, and if a Republican, particularly Trump, did the same exact thing, "fact checkers" would ignore the lack of context.
