Cruz achieved his goal, trolling the left as he's been roasted repeatedly by the Twitter-verse.
Incidentally, Big Bird has been pushing vaccines since the 70's, as well as washing hands, eating vegetables, etc.

Probably true. Even though I'm a Baylor Law graduate, I have no special loyalty to them or sense any duty to give them the benefit of the doubt. They gave me the legal education that I paid for like Walmart gave me the food and drinks that I used to buy from them. That's the end of the transaction.
Yes, he does, and it's what bugs me about him. It's not because he says negative things. It's that he says virtually nothing but negative things, and that simply isn't an honest picture.
I also think a lot of it is a proxy for Trump contempt. Prior to Trump, I don't remember him being like this anywhere near as much. Furthermore, he's a bit of a Trump-hating virtue signaler. By that I mean that it seems like he feels an obligation to crap on Trump even when he's not writing about Trump. If you're associated with the Right, I think you have to do that as a predicate for people in elite political circles to listen to you.
And I say this as someone who generally likes The Dispatch. I like and read Jonah Goldberg. I've always thought Sarah Isgur was cute. (It's the sexy brunette with the glasses look - same as the appeal of S.E. Cupp.)

Yeah. Trump is what turned him loopy. I think some stupid Trumpists went after him when he started to criticize Trump during the campaign. There were threats to him and his family. I understand the fear and hatred toward crazy Trump cultists which do exist. But he went from a pretty decent religious conservative to something really weird. He now shills for government power and central planning stuff. Weird.
I haven't and will not read the Dispatch. I actually started my path towards libertarianism when reading articles of Goldberg's about his book Liberal Fascism. But at this point is a liberal fascist. Trump ruined him too. Goldberg wasn't ever the most conservative guy but he supports the regime much more now due to his distaste of Trump. Due to Trump I went even more down the liberty side. Trump talked big but didn't do that much. Part of that was his own incompetence. Part of that was establishment Republicans like the National Review Inc. steering him down a more neoconn path.
I can't even read my favorite National Review writer, Kevin Williamson, anymore. I was only mildly affected by his anti-Trumpism. I actually agree with him on some of it. But even now he writes and hints about Trump. I just couldn't keep reading him stuck in a rut. He is a good thinker but he is protecting the repressive Buckleyism that supported neocon ideology and played nice with the evil of Progressivism.
They are basically big government on things they like and sometimes against big government on things the Democrats push.
It is a question of power. Just as Liberals say minorities can't be racist, no matter their actions, because they have no power, AOC is more dangerous because she and the Crew not only have power, they are gaining in it.
I wonder if I have a blind spot. I feel I have a good handle on what makes Liberals go ape sh*t, but what did he actually do in terms of policy that was so radical to them? Enforcing immigration is not radical. Heck, Obama deported millions and apparently old Joe is not very light-handed with it. Pulling from the Paris Agreement? Was that so egregious? It was all an executive order by Obama to circumvent the Constitutional requirement to ratify all international treaties. What else?
I can't think of anything at the moment.

You think what we do here in the States doesn't affect the world? We're 1/4th of the world's GDP. It goes beyond energy shortages as well. When you pay people to stay home instead of working you have a worker shortage. When you have a worker shortage there's less supply because less is being made. Less supply means scarcity happens and prices go up. Is this 100% on Biden? No, but he's heavily contributing to it.
