a) Romney is terrible. Surely Utah can do better for themselves. Not so surprised about Collins and Murkowski.

From one of my uber-liberal friends. I think this is called indoctrination, not education.......

Superficially, she isn't wrong. The purpose of public schools is to teach kids what society needs them to know. The issue is who decides what society needs them to know. The Left thinks that woke progressives who have captured and entrenched themselves in the education hierarchy should decide what society needs children to know and with little or no control from parents. The Right thinks that as government institutions, public schools are first and foremost answerable to the electorate and the taxpayer and that they should therefore decide what society needs children to know. If they choose to adopt all, some, or none of the education establishment's methods or information, that's their call.
Want an extra $900 per month? Just tell Palm Springs that you're non-binary or transgender. I'm starting to feel non-binary myself.

That's not shocking. As has been documented white Democrats are more liberal than black Democrats. It wouldn't surprise me if white cisgender Democrats are also more liberal than transgendered people.
Who decides what that is? Somebody is going to.
In his defense, all Asians do look alike (sarcasm!!!).
Just imagine the outrage if a conservative writer (for example Byron York) walked up to a black chick that he thought was Nikol Hannah-Jones and called her a garbage person and bragged about it online.
He had a "foreign-sounding" name and was dark-complected, so this dumbass just assumed he was foreign-born. Again, just imagine a Republican making such a racist assumption. It would kill his nomination.
