Post Left Wing looniness here

Which means that liberals don't have empathy for real things.
It means they are more likely to have less empathy for real people and things close to them, and more likely to have a lot of empathy towards abstract groups and concepts with which they don't often interact.

It explains the loudmouthed liberal white women in New York or DC vehemently protesting about some perceived mistreatment of poor black folks (for example) in the South. They find it easier to proclaim how much they care about people they've never met than to actually care about people they know, especially those who might (gasp) think differently than they.

I agree. But move that liberal white women next to a poor black person and poof... She doesn't care anymore. It's fake empathy.

Most liberal white women would never live anywhere near a poor black person. She's woke in her politics but turns into Richard Spencer when it's time to decide where to live.

Haven't been keeping up with this guy...whats the deal? Was he about to be ousted anyway? Scared of Trump?

His party is expected to be routed in the 2025 election, so yes, he was going to be ousted anyway.

He has also lost support in his own party over some issues. In fact, his finance minister very vocally quit and took a crap on him on her way out. And not long ago, the hard left party withdrew from its agreement to back Trudeau, so his government had effectively already collapsed. The cost of living in Canada is simply out of hand, and Trudeau is rightly paying the price for it.

While ending these woke DEI policies is good, these companies are not to be applauded. They started the policies because they thought it was a good business decision. They are ending them because they are bad business decisions affecting the bottom line.

That's it. They do it for no other reason.

He's the latest Biden being kicked out of the way by the far left. The country is crashing and the right is gaining a ton of momentum while his popularity is tanking. I don't believe at all it was his decision.

So Dems got panties in a wad over the new Nebraska Repub Senator's swear in by kammie. After she was sworn in Kammie shook her hand and turned to shake the Senaror's husband's hand. He did not shake her hand. Dems criticized him as rude uncivil disrepecting the office etc.
Once the pic was looked at closely the Senator's husband held the bible in one hand and was leaning on a cane in his other.

Wish I could claim this bit of sarcasm....

The Palisades Fire (they/them) believes the outdoors is for all. While it is working to incinerate a more inclusive outdoor community, the reality today is that many wildfires are still not welcoming to or representative of all people. As one of the newest players in the wildfire industry, the Palisades Fire (they/them) commits to working with its Trailblazers & brand ambassadors to drive the change it wants to see in our society, to create a more inclusive and equal environment for all.
