Notice I said the principle not the letter of the amendment.

The point is, if the government shouldn't force citizens to house soldiers in their house then why should it be okay for the government to force illegal aliens in your house? They are both the same category of coercive action. It's like the arguments about 2nd amendment revolving around the types of guns. Well the founders didn't have automatic rifles in mind just muskets. Same thing with arguments about the 4th amendment only pertaining to physical documents but not electronic. The principle is the same. So it should apply. Courts have extended laws with much less justification.

I know. I was just being silly. As if aliens deserved free housing more than soldiers...

mb? What would be the over and under on how many will actually volunteer to have illegal aliens live with them?
 
I shared an article here about 6 months ago when the migrants were first being bussed to NYC. A female reporter was genuinely trying to help a young illegal get a foothold in america such as trying to find a place for him to stay and possible job opportunities (low skill work, but a start). He responded by sending her dick pics.

To be fair, it's not being required. He's offering to pay people who volunteer to house illegal immigrants. The 3rd Amendment prohibits quartering of troops in private homes involuntarily during peacetime.

We hear about guys sending unsolicited dick pics all the time, and there's something I'm genuinely curious about. Has this ever worked? Has anyone ever heard of a guy doing this and the woman actually being impressed and aroused by it enough that she sleeps with the guy? Personally, I've never heard of this happening a single time. In fact, I've never heard of it leading to anything but embarrassment and shame for the guy, and yet guys still do it routinely. I don't get it at all.
 
This is why the apology and struggle sessions are stupid. It's never enough. You have to celebrate the cause. Bass ended up being cut by the Blue Jays anyway. The struggle session failed. He got nothing for selling out his beliefs and his faith. Didn't even get the 30 pieces of silver.
