Oklahoma State University sued over policies that punish students for 'opinionated' views (msn.com)

I remember when I was at UT (graduated in '83) the literal West Mall was deemed the place to be to organize political and social speech. And discussion amongst individuals were all over the place. The Union and Mad Dog and Bean's seemed to be the most active places to have philosophical debates and questions. If you weren't interested or you didn't necessarily agree, you just kept walking, you didn't try and shout people down.

I haven't been on the West Mall in years. I wonder if any of that still goes on or if it would just turn into a shouting/whine fest.......
 
If the woke actually read this filing AND had even a miniscule understanding they would realize this might protect them too.

It’s a social identity that spread culturally due to young girls on social media. Academia and civil rights grifters laid the seeds. This is why once they exit their teenage years and start working, they go back to being straight or homosexual.

What's this "coming" BS? We have large segments of the country (and they are the most educated and most culturally influential segments) who not only think people with penises can be women but that the force of law should be used to compel that the rest of society treats them as such based on nothing but their personal claim to be women. People of serious or even modest intellect don't believe stuff like that.

The Idiocracy is not only here, it is culturally dominant and has been for about ten years.

My guess is these buffoons are using illicit drugs to "enlighten" their thinking. And those of you who think those are okay and should be legal ought to give pause to that.

Look at Brian Wilson. Says he didn't really hear the music until he became a fat POS LSD popping idiot. Well, goodie for him. Is the music good? Sure. It would be good without the use of those drugs.

Drug legality isn't a big issue one way or the other for me. But drug laws haven't prevented drug use at all as seen everywhere. So please don't conflate the two. There have also been many additionally bad things come from drug law enforcement, including but not limited to violation of natural rights.

Drug use violates natural law, but not all violations of natural law should have violence applied to them as punishment. There should be a distinction drawn between vice and crime. Both are sinful and can be destructive, but crimes are themselves violations of natural rights and should have violence applied to them as punishment.

Really? Can you prove there are not people who do not start using drugs simply because they are illegal? Laws against murder haven't prevented that either. Maybe it should be legalized.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. The way the world is going, it will all soon be legal and we will see how that works out for everyone.

Has legalizing marijuana in some states increased the usage? I haven't seen anything claiming that. I don't think anyone can prove a claim one way or another. But I think we can all agree that drug use is rampant with all the drug laws on the books. I think drug use should be fought by changing culture, eliminating left wing influence, giving people meaning and purpose in their lives.

There is a difference between drug use and murder. Drug use doesn't violate natural rights. Murder is a violation of natural rights. That is the point I have been trying to make.
