Point me to some good Chicken Fried Steak

Hoover's is pretty fair...I'd rate theirs about a 6 or 7,
Threadgill's sucks...about like a Denny's,
I'll second Cafe 290 in Manor and the Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls...both about 8 - 9,
The Louisiana Longhorn in Round Rock serves a decent CFS...about a 6.5 - 7,

In Austin, I would have to go with Hyde Park. Threadgill's is average (as is all of their food) and find find Hoover's terribly inconsistent.

But for overall best, you have to mention Royer's, but I think you can only get it on Thursday.
