Common is a respected artist, and any well respected artist will have some controversial work. This piece accurately represented the frustrations and anger of a large group of people; that is what art does.

The above ground pools are quite practical because they can easily be drained and moved to another location, not to mention their low cost relative to the in-ground models. This is not only a fiscally sound decision, but also good wholesome fun for the entire Obama family.

Why would anyone hate Palin? She's just a hard-workin', simple-minded woman who has done fairly well for herself in the United States of JesusGuns&RealityTV. The fact that she's fantastically uneducated and spectacularly incurious about the world need not disqualify her for public service.

When people like George Bush and Donald Trump are taken seriously in the public sphere, Sarah Palin comes across as darn near overqualified as a modern day conservative.
 
I actually kind of admire Palin for working the system as well as she has. She short on brains but long on guts, and that's more than enough to get you places in this culture. I just don't want to see her in a position of authority that might require intelligent deliberation on complex matters. If Vanna White ever retires Palin could totally reinvent the letter-turning craft.
