It wasn't a great throw and the interception was a gift. The type of interception a defensive guy dreams about. Penn State is starting to win the line of scrimmage.
 
The major change in the playoffs for next year needs to be doing completely away with rewarding conference champions and expand to 16 teams so everyone plays week 1.

The five champions will be in regardless, but the seedings need to be based solely off the overall rankings. The rankings need to be done off a compilation of different poll ranking/power rankings/rating services etc so it's not just people choosing who they like. No "guaranteed" spots for the SEC & Big 10, just simply based off a comprehensive ranking system.

For the most part I agree except conference champions get nothing handed to them. If you are in the top 16 you're in and first two rounds are home games for the higher seed.

Screw the bowls, reward schools and fans of the school for making the playoffs.

That will happen when the QB throws 3 ints in the 1st half and 2 of them are pick 6's. PS is the better team, but it would at least be close if Jennings weren't colorblind.

Please Quinn, don't imitate Jennings today.
 
So…..at some point the billionaire BMDs influence hits the law of diminishing returns when the coaching and player development does not meet up with the purchased talent.

Case in point: SMU today.

SMU's not a bad football team. The defense is actually pretty good. They are not a solid football team, though. They have a couple of significant weaknesses as compared to true top 10 teams. They are still in building mode but I don't know what that means, any longer. It's year to year.
 
Penn State is absolutely mauling SMU 38-3. The Pony Express is about to mount up and head back to Dallas for the winter. I fully expect us to do a similar thing to Clemson. They've beaten exactly two teams with a winning record and one was a last second FG over this very SMU team.
