I was thinking that, since aTm and LSU are both unbeaten in conference, if LSU wins, they would remain unbeaten, whereas if aTm wins, then we would have a chance to knock them off and win the tiebreaker with them

We can't have LSU go undefeated in conference since Georgia has us for a tie breaker.

Realistically, we need LSU to lose twice in conference play and Georgia to lose one more time. If that happens and we win out then we are assured a ticket to the SEC Championship game.
