OTHER GAMES

To these eyes, Oklahoma looks like a different team today. Arnold is playing reasonably well so far, and running. Their offensive line seems to be protecting.

It might be that Venables circled the wagons (pun intended), and had this team ready, and angry. We shall see. If they pull off the upset, I suspect that they will be a different team for the rest of the year.

None of us want to see OU Sucks do well, but we also don’t want to see them upgrade the program with a new head coach.

The Ole Miss helmets look like the team was painting their locker room white and did not wash their hands before taking the field.

#18 Ole Miss does not look great at home today
Their two losses are to UK and LSU, both 3-point losses
Best win so far is against 4-3 South Carolina
Still have to play Arky, Georgia, Florida, MS State
I could see OU winning this one today
Ole Miss kicks a FG for a 10-7 lead now
Have they looked good anywhere this season?

Huskers keeping it close with the Buckeyes early in second half.
aOSU leads 14-6, just punted to Huskers. I'd love to see the upset here today.

I'm the guy on this board who is pulling for OU. They are one half of the greatest rivalry in all of college sports. OU sucking is not good for us.
I may need to self injure after this comment, but I tend to agree. If they win today and somehow beat Alabama or LSU, wouldn’t that help us?

(Now I’m gonna go wash my mouth out with soap.)

A team that just got crushed the week prior (like Texas), can be very dangerous in their next game. I suspect that Nebraska will keep this close.

Well, the Nebraska defense is keeping them in the game against Ohio State. Halfway through 3rd quarter, 14-9. If Nebraska can find some offense, they might have a chance to pull off a huge upset.

I know that OU sucks, in a karmic, state of the universe kind of way.

Why, however, do they suck so much in playing football this year? I don't follow OU football, in the same way I don't follow Aggie football or camp out in the local Walmart parking lot to count the number of parents beating their kids.

So, how have the sooners devolved to this?

I want ou, anm, and tceh to lose at everything they attempt. I was living in Abilene when Abilene Cooper's Jack Mildren signed with ou, I was heartbroken that a hometown Texan would cross the border to play for a school I hated so badly. If Texas wins they don't need anyone else to be good.

Not enough parents beating their kids to get them to go get money on NIL deals.

I had to look it up because I could not figure out what the heck the design was on the Ole Miss helmets. They are described as having a 'camo' theme. In what world is dark blue and white involed in camoflage? In outer space?

Ohio State now up 21-17, 6 minutes remain in 4th quarter. The Nebraska defense is hanging tough. If the Huskers can generate another TD drive and use up most of the clock, they have a chance to pull this off.

Notre Dame really piling on against Navy, 51-14. Navy has committed six turnovers - 5 fumbles, 1 INT. Hard to win against a good team when you turn it over six times. Maybe Army can do better when they play ND.

Huskers got a stop and have the ball. 3:36 to go, ball on their own 27. If they can pull off a 73-yard TD drive to win this one, OSU and Columbus will go into total meltdown.
