OTHER GAMES

Tech up on Ariz 18-3.

Akina looks like an aging madman on the sideline.
Poor Duane.

He looks like he just staggered into the stadium after spending all week in the desert searching for the Lost Dutchman Mine or something…

Too bad the officials are cheating for Miami in the game against Cal. For those not watching, they didn’t call a targeting call that was so obvious that even the announcers obsessively asserted that it was targeting. Sickening.

Bama #13 gets a penalty for kicking the ball and is still in the game. I wonder what saban would’ve done about that.
was thinking the same thing. He was acting like an idiot before the snap- throwing his mouthpiece and had his back turned to the play while yelling at the crowd when the ball was snapped.
Then the Bama d-line was classless with the extra pushing and shoving for both kneel downs.. Win with class and lose the same way

Saw an interesting stat from a Fox Sports writer. Same writer, amongst those last week, who jumped Bama over Texas in the AP. He now has Bama all the way down to 14. Last week, they deserved #1.

Anyway, he said Vandy led 13-0 early in the game. The stat is that, according to this guy, Vandy scored 13 total points in all its games against Saban's Bama teams.

He also has Texas being jumped this week by Ohio State.

I don't believe Tide drops out of the Top 10 but they fall to 8 or 9. I think last week was history and puffery of GA/ALA but Vandy exposed current ALA for its lack of complete play.

The game also sunk Milroe for Hypesman for a few weeks, but it returns when he faces QE and Texas.

Meanwhile, new odds-on seems to be the kid at Boise playing like a video game every time he touches the ball. Scouts will be salivating at what he could do with a truly top-tier O-line...

You are assuming we play Bama in the SEC! Champeenship?

All to spite you.

I think this guy didn’t think it through. Many folks will vote Texas #1 knowing the OU and GA games are coming up. Why vote otherwise that lessens the hype? It’s like voting for a salary cut. Listen, some people are objectively stupid.

I’ll be very surprised if Texas is not # 1. And I think Bama will drop no lower than 6.

The bogus rating will be Miami. For the past two weeks, they have received major assists from the officials to win games. I continue to believe that someone in the ACC league office wants to ensure their participation in the playoffs.

Those officials in the Miami-cal game should be barred from working any other games. At least the ones whose responsibility it was to make that call. Not making that obvious call was beyond egregious.

I believe they are getting instructions from the league office. If I’m not mistaken, this was a different “ACC” crew than the one that threw the VT game.

I hope the playoff committee — and the Heisman voters — take notice and adjust accordingly.

Once is chance; twice could be coincidence; three times is enemy action.
This is the kind of thing, whether actually nefarious or not, that makes people suspicious of this level of bad calls.
