OTHER GAMES

Bizzare ending at TT v K game. Blocked winning FG then K recovers and makes it. K beats TT in a really entertaining game. I tell you that K qb is gonna be a good one.
This tells me that coaching makes a huge difference. Miles had done a good job.

Domers are going down. ND QB fumbles away the ball. He started to throw, then tried to bring it back. Michigan ball. Go Big Blue! This one is over.

Harbaugh gets a turn off the hot seat. The aOSU game will be tough and crucial for his future.

Some (slightly opinionated) thoughts on yesterday's games:

LSU 23, Auburn 20 -- LSU survives and is still on track for the big show down vs. Bama. A tight defense proves they can limit Burrow.

Ohio State 38, Wisconsin 7 -- I think most of us expected aOSU would win, but the Buckeyes really smashed the Badgers. aOSU has played better than anyone this year and probably should be number 1 at this point.

KSU 48, OU 41 -- NOBODY saw this coming! Upset of the year in the Big 12. The downside of the Sooners' downfall--Baylor is now the top team in the conference (ick!)

Michigan 45, ND 14 -- Hail to the Victors Valient! Wow! Big Blue takes down the vaunted Irish. Harbaugh desperately needed this. Michigan will have at least a fighting chance against the mighty Buckeyes. The Irish haven't taken a beating this bad since the Battle of the Boyne.

Oregon 37, Pirates 35 -- The Pirate makes it a close one. I'll say it again, Oregon does not deserve a playoff spot, even if they win out.

Utah 35, Cal 0 -- Da Youts put a stompin on Da Bears. Cal's early season hopes and fast start out of the gate are a distant memory.

OSU 34, ISU 27 -- The mullet still has it in him. This conference is as unpredictable as the PAC 12.

The KSU upset was so surprising you put the score down wrong. KSU was 48. It was an amazing game. OU looked like the defense of old as it was totally manhandled by the kitties. We’re in for a tough season finale.

Nice catch, thanks. I fixed that. Yeah, it's like a portal to some other universe opened up and KSU's and OU's scores were flipped or distorted or something.

As they say, any given week, any given game...

Teams should basically never run back kicks. Just getting to the 25 isn't easy. Throw in risk of penalty, injury, fumble. Don't know why a team would run them back.

Baylor punter throws himself on the ground after not even being touched, then stays down for a bit and pretends he hurt his leg. Reminds me of OU's punter in 2008 except in this case the refs weren't fooled.

The two quarterbacks are a combined 2/11 passing for 9 yards with a few minutes to go in the first quarter - I would make a "who says the big 12 plays no defense" joke but this is mostly due to poor passes and unforced drops. But not a lot of room to run on the ground for either team as well and in this case it actually is mostly due to good defense.

They should measure the 0 point of kick return yardage from the 25 (except it would throw off all-time stats). You return it to the 37? 1 return for 12 yards. Your next one only makes it to the 16? Now you have 2 returns for 3 yards.

WVU vs Texas
463 yards and 31 points vs Orlan_o's _efense.
WVU vs Baylor's Defense
64 yards at halftime and 0 points....Not even close to scoring.
Anxious to see how it ends up.

Then again, you could also compare our offense vs the WVU defense, to Baylor's offense vs the WVU defense.

This one is reminding me a lot of our 2013 game against Baylor.

That targeting on Norwood was ridiculous.

Yeah, he didn't launch, he tackled with his arms and shoulders, and their heads smashed into each other b/c the other defender tackling from the other side got there 0.1 seconds first and redirected the WRs momentum. Yeah, he should have kept his neck straight and not lowered his head, but he wasn't aiming/targeting with the head. He was bracing for impact. Offensive guys do it all the time and it's never considered a problem.

Touchdown WVU !!!! Its a ball game.....One we need WVU to win if Texas has any chance to get to the CCG. HUGE IF, but to control our own destiny for at least another week....Well never mind... Brewer to Mims....WVU can't stop that and Orlando can't either.....Well...that is why you return kicks... Tied 14-14
