OTHER GAMES

Just saw a Maryland player give a big Horns down while he was on the field after a play. I did not know that we live rent free in the Maryland players head too. :idk:
No, that is the reverse NC State hand sign for Wolfpack.

Fans in the stands too. Made me look twice, unreal.
It’s real, but amended for a wolf instead of a longhorn.

NC State “Wolfies”

Ever since 1921, NC State athletic teams have been called the Wolfpack, and the name has become a rallying cry for alumni and current students alike. In order to show this school spirit, many members of the Pack hold up their “wolfies,” or a mini wolf they create with their hands. This motion, made by joining the middle and ring fingers together and then touching the pair with the tumb, is used almost daily by students, athletes and other fans of the school. It was popularized by coaches as well as famous women’s basketball coach Kay Yow who was commonly seen flashing her wolfies on and off the court.

GJ,

You should go to a game at Doak Campbell. FSU = clueless fans who don't know either the fight song (F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E, Florida State, FLorida State, florida State, WOOO!) or the school song, which consists of a bunch of mumbling with a loud F S U in the middle. Very disappointing crowd. Coach Bowden deserved better.

Goes to show the team that gets pressure on the qb is the winning team 99 times out of 100. The one that doesn’t has a fumble at game end.

For those criticizing Ewers, another freshman QB from Texas is starting for Clemson and having a tough time. It is not easy to shine as a freshman at QB. Klubnik has a better supporting cast than Ewers (on offense)

He screwed the pooch on the last drive - cost Clemson 3 points.

If Clemson had the freshman qb they put on the field tonight all season they would be lucky to be ranked at all.
Very talented, Heck of a runner, cannon for a arm bur decisions at critical moments were that of a freshman.

The Rodney Daingerfield of the playoffs. They’re getting NO RESPECT.

I just played excerpts from about a half dozen YouTube previews and they’re all predicting Michigan to absolutely stomp the Frogs.

Michigan’s pass rush is good—real good.
Michigan’s OL and run game is good—real good.

But Max Duggan and Quentin Johnston can light it up. QJ might be the nation’s top WR. Max Duggan is a dangerous dual threat QB. Dykes is a very good game day coach. The Frogs play tough and are better tacklers than most teams UM has seen.

Michigan is, and should be, the favorite, but I don’t like all these experts just writing TCU off as if they were Indiana or Michigan State or something…

I'm not sure how these things happen. Tennessee beat Clemson 31-14 last night in the Orange Bowl and it looks like a big Tenn win, but statistically Clemson out played them all night long. Clemson had significantly more 1st downs, more passing yds, more rushing yds, better 3rd down conversion rate and much more time of possession. Clemson gave up 2 turnovers and missed on four scoring opportunities (3 missed FG and Int in the end zone) which really turned the game.

Until the end where Klubnik was running for his life just tossing the ball downfield, I felt like he had a pretty good game. He must have had 10-12 incompletions in the last 6 minutes of the game when Tennessee knew it was pass only. I still think we recruited the wrong QB that year. I knew that when I watched Klubnik dismantle Southlake while Ewers just looked average at best.

Obvious interference screws KSU against Bama. Most games come down to a dozen plays and the refs are responsible for at least a 1/3 of those.

Nice to see a couple of players playing the bowl game for their teammates. Young of ALabama and vaughn for KS. Young probably the overall #1 pick.I wonder how many Ala players opted out for the bowl game?

Every time I hear Saban talk about Bryce Young, it is nothing but effervescent praise.

I think Kllubnik pretty much lost the game with his decision making. He ran the ball 20 times frequently took off to fast and failed to make the line to gain. He had two interceptions and often abandoned the pocket far too often. Yes Tennessee pressured him frequently but it looked to me like he held the ball too long. This was his first start. Did look like he has a lot of potential but if he continues to run that much will miss a few games along the way.
