Mike should take the guy's credentials if for no other reason than he is too stupid to be in a meeting of adults. Hell, Bum Phillips yanked a longtime "friend" and kicked him off team plane for less.

Who is the guy anyway? Why does he have a press pass? Is he the reporter for the Wister Watch Out?

I sent Mike an email supporting his response. The media thinks their entitled when all they are is a nuisance. Those halftime questions by sideline reporters? Another place I'll miss Mike Leach. Answers like, "We plan to score more points than they do and to stop them from scoring"

Coaches' jobs are difficult enough without having to put up with crap like this.
 
Reporters are going to ask dumba** questions. That’s what they do. Unless the questions get personal and insinuate an attack on an individual player — in which case the questioner should be called out* — coaches should be adroit at handing just about anything. They certainly get plenty of practice.

Gundy is pretty good at it. Sark is as well. It would serve some of these HCs well to inject a little humor into the conversation when they can. Few do. Mike McDaniel of the Dolphins is one of the best.

* As Gundy famously did in his “I’m a Man” tirate.
 
WOW! That was a major HIT on the Kansas wideout. The dude is laying on the field puking his guts out. Nasty, but legal hit.
 
Got home just in time to hear the sportscasters do a tone-deaf imitation of Starship, the halftime entertainment. Saints preserve us, please.
