A threat of tornado. There was some circulation possible in a cell east of Sienna Plantation, West of Pearland. At last report, all pigs, cows, & tallow trees were accounted for. Most of the barns down there are already falling down.

As a kid, we used to have tallow berry fights. Dad hated it, as each of those tallow berries would sprout a tree (a weed). Tallow trees are an early instance of China getting at us.

I'll try that website. Best weatherman ever in Houston was Doug Johnson, who worked for the Hobby family at Channel 2. No college classes, to my knowledge never visited Starkville. He grew up in the Heights, went to Reagan HS, and was more accurate than all the other eggheads, coke heads, pedophiles that came along later.

I've been in the swamps long enough to read the winds and animals. I got everything about Harvey right except the gross stupidity and ignorance of the Corp of Engineers, which caused the flooding
 
Detroit screwed up going for the endzone on 3rd and 1 with half a minute left and all their timeouts. Get the 1st down and you can take multiple shots instead of one, plus it runs the clock out so Buffalo can't respond.

Scored with 1:28 left. All 3 timeouts. Burned 2 deciding what to do for 2 pt play.
Oh well. No skin off my teeth.
 
Way off our radar... me and wifey watching FL - FSU game. She is an FSU grad. Been around her, FL, this rivalry for almost 40 years.

FSU -FL hate for each other is EPIC - perhaps more than we hate aggy / ou and they DESPERATELY HATE UT.
