Matt Campbell has officially uncoached himself out of a better gig. He's gone from a guy who could basically get any Power-5 job he wanted to... 4-7.

I know it's unlikely, but in the event OK State came back to win tonight, we'd really need OU to take care of Tech next week. Just in case.
 
Side note: Big XII will officially be up to 8 bowl invitees assuming OU holds on. There are only 5 "official" minor bowl bids after the Sugar per conference agreements. The optional 6th and 7th are the First Responder Bowl and Armed Forces Bowl.

At this rate, I think we'll see the following:
TCU - CFP
Loser of CCG - Sugar
Team who doesn't make the CCG if we end up needing h2h tiebreaker (KSU or Texas) - Cotton
OK State, Tech, Baylor, KU, OU - will get selected by whichever bowl wants whom between:
Alamo
Cheez-It
Texas Bowl
Liberty
Guaranteed Rate

The big question mark is the Cotton. I know they'd love an 8-4 Texas team if we finished a game behind KSU. But that's up in the air. If they passed on either Texas or KSU, my guess is they'd put us in Alamo against the best remaining Pac team.

Still up 28-13 but Pokes have had the M the second half.

Just showed Veneables yelling big time at players on the sideline.

8.5 min left -pokes need a TD on this drive if they have a chance.
 
OSU qb playing terrible but had a good game against Texas though he narrowly avoided 2-3 interceptions against us.
 
Oklahoma on their way to one of the crappiest wins ever. Both teams look like they belong in Division 2. Sooners haven't converted a 3rd down since just after halftime ended, and Gabriel is 1 for his last 14 passes (and that one was for 3 yards).
 
If Tech beats OU next week (I think they will), they will finish 5-4 in the conference. Loss to Tech not as bad as initially thought.

No. I heard if he hadn't taken the SC job he'd have replaced Riley. I'm somewhere more like ASU or even Nebraska. I've been somewhat out of the loop fot the last month or so due to health issues and not up to date on things.
 
IDE, since I had my VERY unexpected MI and subsequent triple by pass I have become more sensitive to others health issues - hope you are ok and recover quickly. :hookem:

Dealing with congestive heart failure. 9 days in hospital and coming up on 2 weeks in rehab facility. People say I'm doing well. appreciate the kind thoughts from you and Dion.
