OTHER GAMES

Some takeaways from Saturday:

Michigan is just awful. I thought Harbaugh would catch a break from fans because it’s 2020 and he’s their legacy guy, but I don’t think so anymore. Michigan struggles to beat Rutgers in OT. That’s not supposed to happen.

KSU isn’t that strong after all.

Leach is having a difficult time, but he can still play the giant killer role.

Indiana is no longer just a basketball school.

Nebraska still stinks.

OU will almost always beat up their little brother.

ISU is good.

Helton and USC are slowly edging their way back to relevance.

Bama is the big bully, probably better than Clemson with Lawrence this year.

Clemson may be rusty at this point - they need to start playing with their stars again and ramp up for the ACC game and the playoffs if they win.

FLA has a great offense, and not good defense. You'd think Bama would figure out how to stop them in the SEC game.

Penn State is even worse that Michigan - I think they play each other next week for a battle of terrible teams. A loss there and the usual OSU whipping may be the end of Haugbau's tenue.

Still don't care about the Pac. I hope they all have Wuhan cancellations and have to scrap the season. They tried to virtue signal this year by canceling, thinking it would make everyone else follow, then they saw everyone else playing and didn't want to miss out, so they invented some lie about rapid testing, and the compliant media went along sans questions.

Quite the battle

Of all the nationwide college football misery, I'm most pleased with State Penn being WINLESS.... a glistening 0-5!

Prolly first time in 75 years or something. Will be pulling for Mich. to keep the lions winless streak going.

Hey, maybe State Penn doesn't win 1 game this season!

I heard first time in program history.

So maybe it was posted elsewhere and I didn't see it....

Dabo Sweeney is pissed off at Fla State canceling / postponing their game Sat. morning with Clemson. Seems a FSU player got sick early in the week before but tested negative for Covid. He later tested positive - Friday night or Sat. morning before the game.

Dabo wants his $300K travel expense money to Tallahassee repaid by Free Shoes University! He also stated something to the effect that FSU canceled because they are so bad and didn't want to lose to the Tiggers.

It will be tough for the Wolverines going forward. They'll have to play in some cold weather. If they lose, that will be the reason why.

I figured Big Blue fans would cut Harbaugh a lot of extra slack, but Michigan has fallen off the cliff this year. There is underperforming, then there is a train wreck that crashes into a dumpster fire.

Oh, and when fans in the (post) industrial Upper Midwest get angry and turn against you, it’s very, very ugly and mean. That chunk of the country has our nation’s closest thing to English soccer hooligans.

Notre Dame v North Carolina tonight.

This is the best Irish team in a while, and Mack is not renowned for his big game coaching, but don’t count out the Tarheels.

Oregon v Oregon State — It’s doubtful anyone but USC will take down the Ducks in the PAC this year. Still, it’s an in state rivalry game, so strange things happen.

NC scores TD on its opening drive against ND. Announcer just summarized the drive as "50 plays in 7 yards." Actually, it was 50 yards in 7 plays. ;)

Mack's team scores again on short QB run after a long pass completion on the previous play. Mack leads 14-7. . . . ND responds in kind. Could be a barn burner here.
