I had to pay $100 to get my license back. I think it's $150 now. Don't forget the SR22 filing for your car insurance, if the court makes you get one. It's usually not expensive, but your insurance company may not write those.

I had to pay something like $75 to get my license back... and ~$200 to get my car out of the impound.

Overall this thing is costing over $600

I also don't know how this was my first alcohol charge. I did some very very very very stupid things in high school.

Yes, I know. All my friends who have kids ***** at me about cruisin around **** faced. I dont get it. Thing is 90% of them have DWI's. I dont have a single charge of any kind. As far as the gubment is concerned I am an angel.

I don't know how long he was a TABC officer. He was when I was a junior/senior in high school. Now that you mention it, I do remember something about him getting shitcanned. He probably just let us throw the parties to show up later and hit on the drunk high school girls.
