OK, I think there are 5 or 6 of us up right now

that blows. I'm trying to remember my class's stories...but I was kinda buzzed when I went each night.

Where are you taking it?
 
Yeah mine was DUI by minor... it's the same class though so there were people with MIPs and a few other things there. I have to go tomorrow night for the 2nd half and then I'll be completely done with all my court ordered crap.

I'm taking it at University Methodist (right on campus)
 
Do you have to take the MADD Impact class? I had to take one when I got a DUI about 7 years ago. That **** was bad.
 
No... $300 fine (It was an MIP and DUI by Minor charge... $250 for one and +$50 for the other), 8 hours community service and this 6 hour alcohol awareness class.
 
I need a 2nd reason why Americans aren't equal. I already talked about economic reasons... but I can't think of anything good for my 2nd one.
 
yeah she is...she is kinda hot, but kinda not...its weird

I still call ******** on your 8 hours, I had to work at that damn habitat for humanity store for 12 fckin hours
 
Ya... I was thinking that exact same thing about her trying to decide if she was hot or not. I also can't tell if she's like 28 or 42.

Ha yeah that sucks. All I did for my community service was supervising a few homeless families at a church which involved me playing basketball for 2 hours with this 14 year old black kid (who was much better than me), watching the rockies vs. diamondbacks on SOPcast and then going to sleep there.
 
i got a dwi a couple of years ago. i got:

18 months probation, $400 fine, the maad class, another class that i had to go to at 8:00am on saturday 3 weeks in a row, 40 hours of community service.

the classes were the worst part.
 
BO, that's pretty much what I got, except I got 2 years probation. Now, I finished everything and still had 6 months to go. My probation officer never made me come back in. She just said, "If you drink, don't get caught because you are technically still on probation." I did my 40 hours at the Goodwill computer store next to the old Dell Factory Outlet. That **** was easy. Get a computer, take it apart.
 
Well, I paid more if you consider the damn court fees and lawyer costs. It cost me around 2 grand when all was said and done.
 
Granted, mine was 7 years ago. I know the penalties have gone up. I think your license is now suspended for 180 days. It was only 90 for me.
 
$400 wasn't a typo.

i thought it was going to be a lot bigger too, but thats what i got.

also i never had to pay the drivers license surcharge they tell you about either. and i renewed my license after i got off probabtion, so it would have shown up.

apparently a lot of this **** gets lost in the shuffle.
