Obama visits Horns

People! People! People! Take a deep breath. When is the loudest cheer when the intro is played before games on the Zillatron? It's when they show Nixon...Dick effin Nixon...handing the trophy to DKR. Nixon, one of the most reviled people in American history. Mack Brown's major job, or one of them, is to pimp The University of Texas. When one has the chance to pimp The U on a national scale, one does it. Mack may have even been told to do this by some other higher up pimp at The U. You better believe he ran it past multiple other higher ups before doing this.

Just in case it matters to you, no, I won't be voting for BO.

Great opportunity for the players to meet an exciting and charasmatic figure in American politics. What's the big deal? I'm sure Mack would have given the same opportunity to McCain if he had asked.

Also, not a bad photo to hang in the locker room when Barack becomes the next President of the US!

Michael Griffin gave me a call today on behalf of Obama, asking me to vote for Obama (already did) and come out for his rally tonight. It was pretty cool talking to Mike Grif though.

Lots of old Longhorn fans did not like Willie hanging out with DKR back in the 70's. Some say it was the reason those in charge chose Fred Akers as Royal's successor instead of Coach Campbell who he had recommended.

Coaches can hang out whomever they want for all I care. Mack hung out with W plenty of times before he was elected pres.

What he promises is great until you ask the price tag on the working folk.
 
I'm very disappointed in Mack for letting this fisaco take place. UT football has no place being involved in politics. Especially with such an idiot as Osama.
 
I guess this means no more Republican Longhorn fans? VY was not keen on W. One of the biggest Texas fans who was President was Lyndon Johnson. Are the Ags right? UT is a liberal institution with no room for conservatives?

Except we have plenty of conservative fans, team members, coaches and others who somehow managed to handle the visit by Obama without losing their marbles.
 
Al Unamerican Statesman is advertising to sell photographs of Osama with Mack and current players.

The University should not allow left wing media to profit from a bad experience for The University.

If The University is willing to align itself with socialism then it should expect donations from alumni like me to disappear.

It looks like the players enjoyed so I like it.
The bad news is that if Obama wins we will have to share our National Championship with Rice because they tried really hard but just do not have the advantages that The University of Texas has.
