NY Times on the Recruiting Battle for Scott

When Ketch was on 1300 a.m. it was unbearable. I was really surprised Ward teamed up with him. I can only stand him a little now. I can't speak to his "reporting," but I certainly don't consider him a journalist.

So if this article covers the entire decision making process for Scott, why did Mack spend so much time during his PC talking about cheating going on in recruting at other schools? Who the hell was he talking about?

I think the real dealbreaker was that Mack never gave an impassioned speech telling him what division and conference we are in.

"THIS IS THE DIVISION I FOOTBALL! THIS IS THE BIG XII!"

No worries the kid made the wrong choice but since the Buffs have no other offense to speak of it probably won't hurt us this year. In three years when we play them again who knows what the scene will look like.

I would take Major over Scott any day. Scott gives three or four years of good RB play if he stays healthy and lives up to hype. Major is the future of the program. He is clearly being groomed to be the next OC and probably HC. He is a rising star and can bring in the alumni and recruits. He will probably have the 2nd best QB recruit comming next year and will usher in the 09 class of studs.

Major, at about 30 years of age, is the past . . .

You're on the wrong board. Head back to boomersoonerville.com or whatever board buys that 50 IQ crap.

I can only hope that Scott's decision was truly about relationships, and not skin color. If it were about who he thought would be a better coach, then he's not too bright.

Alexis Scott said speculation about whether she would move to Colorado was irrelevant. “If I chose to move there, that is my choice and I will do so if that’s what I want to do,”

IF this is true, maybe mom won't be taking that job in Colorado after all, considering all of the attention this is getting.
