Now official - Sark is new coach

I'm a lot more concerned about his defensive hires than what he can put together on offense. With guys like Robinson and Whittington coming back, the sky's the limit for creativity and spreading the ball around like Bama does.

Defensive YPG:
2020 - #63
2019 - #97
2018 - #67
2017 - #41
2016 - #94
2015 - #106
2014 - #25

We haven't even been "above average" on D in 6 years. And that was Chuck's first season... a guy with a defensive mindset coming in and playing a bunch of new guys in a new system. My concern is that Sark will leave that up to his defensive staff and he's going to need a hell of a group to turn around what has been pretty miserable (and the main cause of our TCU/OU losses these past few seasons).

I love how the D has gotten fired up for the bowls these past couple seasons, but Colorado and Utah were Pac 12 garbage, and OU is not.
Brian Davis saying to keep an eye on Muschamp which would likely mean keeping Hutzler and adding Tavaris Robinson who is an ACE recruiter

I thought Sam already decided but this from Sark:

Steve Sarkisian on Sam Ehlinger: "Definitely, there’s a phone call coming. He’s got a personal decision to make. I’ll try to guide him as best I can.” #HookEm

Compare this quote above to Mack's plea to Ricky to stay 23 years ago.

Sam isn't 100% welcome back as a starter. If I were him I'd move on. He's always going to be respected and revered. Always. Sark is going to have to earn his respect from the fan base. If he fails and Sam didn't start for him, that's going to be chalked up as his first fault.

I hope Sam stays. We're going to need him.
