NCAA Tournament 2022

Hate to see Oklahoma ... end their seasons with such lopsided losses.

I don't.

I just can't decide which is funniest. That Dara Mabrey had outscored the Sooners by herself until about halfway through the 2nd quarter, that OU had 28 turnovers, or that Notre Dame was one short of doubling Oklahoma in made FG.

OU got totally embarrassed... I can't say I'm surprised. I told a friend earlier this season that neither OU nor Baylor could win second round games the way they were playing. I also said the same thing about our team due to the way we were playing at that same time. Glad we got our sh_t together... and even more glad that those other two didn't.
:hookem2:

Someone posted Vic's press conference one "page" back in this thread. You have to skip ahead a few minutes from the start to see him and the players get seated.

Danny Davis had tweeted that the Utah's coach was going to get the short end of the stick for her press conference because:
1. Losing coach goes second
2. Vic can go on for hours when asked a question
3. Utah had a plane to catch!

Here's Utah:

Well spoken coach and great kids.

Ohio State is making LSU look pretty bad. Mulkey has not performed any of her usual antics. I think it might be the glare from her outfit that is blinding her players and causing missed shots.

I know some people get upset when we talk about a coach’s fashion or hair - so those people should keep scrolling.
Kim Mulkey’s outfit looks like she borrowed it from a drag queen who bought it at a thrift store which acquired it from a children’s dance studio that went of of business. In 1987.
Not to question your sartorial expertise, but would be curious to hear what you think of the outfits of the male coaches. Also, would request that you start a "fashion" thread so I can skip it.

At Ohio State - male coaches are obviously required to home-dutheir hair jet black

Well you can skip my comments - as I mentioned at the top - but you didn’t. As for the men - while their fashion may often be terrible (e.g suits from JC Penny and/or ill-fitting track suits), it’s not nearly as entertaining as Kim. But stay tuned.

Aw come on, Creaky. That's why the seahag wears those jackets, so we will talk about them/her.

Based on the hair styles for Ohio State’s women’s basketball and football coach, “Just for Men” is a sponsor of Ohio State athletics, and home dye jobs are a thing.

Still laughing at OU. And, to think, Charli Creme bumped Baylor up to a #1 seed because he was so impressed with Baylor's win over OU in the Big 12 semi-finals.

Since we recruit against both those schools, their losses are good for us. A recruit like 2024 Aliyah Chavez who's taken unofficial visits to all 3 schools might look at these last 2 days' results and take into account which programs are heading in which direction . . .

Vic far surpassed those coaches in his first year in the big dance compared to theirs and let’s face it, OU and BU didn’t exactly come with bare cupboards for these coaches

After the bracket was announced last Sunday, Charlie Creme stated that Texas beating Baylor like we did is what kept them from being a #1 seed over Louisville. If that's really true, then we are responsible for Baylor getting the draw they did as a #2 seed instead of a #1 seed, and their eventual ouster yesterday. All the #1 seeds advanced pretty easily as it turned out.

Another good day as far as I'm concerned.

With LSU losing prematurely as related to their seed, that should end a lot of the buzz from the media about the incredible job Mulkey has done in her first season.

I was hoping Tennessee would have lost, as well, as that would have resulted in 3 of the 4 schools Miss. State transfer, Rickea Jackson has visited officially failing to advance to the Sweet 16 . . . :p

Sheldon is a pretty good ball handler and shooter. Still think full court press for 40 minutes and don't let them camp out at the 3 point line. They all seem to be pretty good passers so keep an eye on back door cuts.

It’s called a scroll. And even the ESPN announcers comment. If Vic ever wears sequins (or even black tie), let me know. :rolleyes1:
