I was at the game. This team did what it has been doing all year long - when they get scored on, they come right back and score the next time at bat. They got a little help in the fielding error that let Ardoin on, but EK took advantage.

Phil - on TV the home crowd sounded pretty vocal and loud at times during the game. Was crowd louder at the game last night than a conference game?
So status quo.Hmmmmm
We’re swinging at more than a few pitches clearly out of the strike zone.
Potentially high scoring game tonight. I like our chances with our pitching staff settling down.So the Horns need a come-from-behind tonight - they can do it. Lots of innings left.
Collin Sullivan, 3.69 ERA, 3-3, 88 SO, 14 walks.
Right hander. Low 90s fastball and a "sharp" curveball, resulting in many strikeouts. Starts and relieves. Prone to the occasional really bad inning.
And it cost him and the team.4 runs and a man on. Bad inning indeed.
Need 2 runs off this guy. This reliever is pretty good, and he can go for a lot of innings. Long way to go in this game.
Orion Kerkering 2.28 ERA, 5-3, 60 SO, 30 walks, 5 saves
Right hander. Big strong pitcher 6'2" 204. Fastball and sinker. Likes to "live low in the zone." Relief pitcher who can start; sometimes the closer. Got the save against Florida in the regionals. Got the deciding win over So. Alabama in the regionals as a reliever with 4.1 innings pitched.
I love it when 2 guys go after it and they both come up empty-handed.Nice grab butterfingers!
Unless they are wearing burnt orange. Then it sucks.I love it when 2 guys go after it and they both come up empty-handed.
