Tonight, Texas is the ultimate "team with nothing to lose". I think, mentally at least, this is an ideal matchup for the players and Coach G.

I'll say UCONN 71-68. But not a huge shock if the score is reversed.

Too many defensive lapses by the Horns early. Tonight, they look like they are stagestruck a bit, unlike Sunday. Gotta admit Moore is putting on one heck of a show.
 
Horns are going to have to use a hook shot inside with UConn's shot blockers. Still showing a lot of fight, though.

Jeebus Geno really is an ***. His girls have doubled us up and he's still reaming his players like they just coughed up a 10 point lead.

Just like we hope Muschamp will do. Double standard anyone?

Bad foul by Ashley. She has to be smart. Can't compound a TO on one end with a foul on the other. Horns make a spurt, UConn makes a larger one. Horns look like they are rushing their shots. They are getting open looks, just not knocking them down.
 
Hate UConn. Hate Geno even more. But damn they are good. They've got our girls rattled.

Come on Horns... you've got nothing to lose. Settle down and have some fun!

This is what a National Championship team looks like. And Moore is what a POY looks like. She is ready for the WNBA today.

Feel bad for Gail...gotta be a hard pill for her to swollow.
 
Geno acts like that even after the game is over. Call it what you want. He's an *ss regardless of his record.
 
I like how Kat is playing. She's seems to be unflappable. Ebay is hustling everywhere. Can't deny UConn has superior individual talent and they are playing better as a team right now. Horns have to play together to challenge.
 
I've seen Nash get called for being on the sideline multiple times this year. You need to know where you are on the court.
 
I think Coach G is not happy with Ashley. She sat out after making that silly foul. Aubrey did a good job filling out but we need Ashley's D and scoring. Horns are having trouble stopping UConn inside. But they are playing hard and not giving up.
 
My god UConn is shooting 68% (50% from the three) and we are only down by 18. I mean we're getting our you know what handed to us, but I am very proud of how far this team has come this year.

We shot only 38% so I look forward to a better second half.
