Have to say UW run defense adjusted and pretty much shut Mich down in the second quarter. I didn't really expect that.

Think back to the week before we played them. Their OL, DL talked a lot of ****, very confident. They knew they could handle us .

No such talk this week.

We just aren't ready now. Hoping we will be soon.

What can the ncaa do? I honestly don't think heavy sanctions are going to happen. I could be wrong but we'll see

I guess I need to add, anything the ncaa does will be met with UM lawsuits. All of a sudden it's a LIV golf thing . One side (UM) is well funded, the other can't match dollar for dollar.

Penix is uncertain because Michigan is getting pressure. I think Michigan is containing him on the outside, something we couldn’t do. For that reason, the tackles are getting home.

The book on Penix has always been, get pressure, and he doesn’t handle it particularly well. We knew that, and couldn’t do anything. While I need to watch the game again, my assumption is that we didn’t blitz someone like Ant Hill from the right side often, if it all. Major lost opportunity. If what you’re doing isn’t working, try something else. It seems like we didn’t. We seem to telegraph our blitzes, which they picked up like child’s play.
