The Mavs need a 3rd scorer and don't often get one. In the second half they needed a second scorer. Oh well, win game 2 and they have the advantage in the series. What the **** was going on with West grabbing at Dirk's face? Dude should get fined (not suspended) for that ****.

Is there any doubt that if the trade were to be done again (first of all the trade should've never been made), that Josh Howard would've been traded before Harris? Josh Howard is fool's gold. He managed to prove the impossible, that a player of his skill type (Shawn Marion, Richard Jefferson) could get worse with Kidd as their PG. His refusal to run to the rim instead of the 3pt line and his" evolution" into a jump shooter has rendered him useless with Kidd.

And the Kidd trade turned out to be worse than our supposed reasons for trading Nash. Just like Nash he can't guard a western conference PG to save his life, but to make things worse he can't score. If we were going to trade away our advantage over the Spurs (which was speed and decent Tim Duncan post defenders) we might as well have kept Nash. We went backwards with this trade and lost 1st round draft picks to exacerbate it further.

I'll chime in with a WOOOOOOOOOOOO myself. I didn't get to watch the game, but I saw the highlights later. The fast break where CP faked the pass, went around the defender, and then made the pass was Pistol Pete-esque.

The Mavs are the most poorly coached team I have ever seen.

Avery has got to go.

His playoff record is horrendus and its obvious this Mavs franchise has gone as far as its going to go with him as the coach.
