Matt Wells fired from Tech...

I lived in the Panhandle for 6 years split between Lubbock and Amarillo.
They have the best weather in the state for about 320 days a year. The other days it is too cold or it is planting time and the dust is problematic for a few days in the spring

the Tech campus is easy on the eyes

I grew up rural so the Feedlot Perfume smells like money to me

the restaurants were pretty good, especially if you like steaks

compared to Waco or College Station or some of those schools to the north we compete with it is not bad. No Austin, but no traffic problems either

I've visited Lubbock twice. It's a great town. The people are friendly...and genuine! Nice looking women. No shortage of restaurants/bars/churches. Good times.
