Martin/Zimmerman...the other side of the story

You know, I heard one radio report last week that Martin had been suspended from school, but there were not any details. It is amazing to me that all the so many articles could have been written about this event in the last several days and not one of them has mentioned that detail.
 
The reason the police have been reluctant to provide details is because they're making it up as they go along.

If you listened to real news outlets, you would have known early on that Trayvon was suspended for failing to serve his detention for tardies.
 
Are you aware that police [departments] have been known to make stuff up when they have failed the test of due diligence? Or do you think it's just a rumor?
 
yes police can and do make things up but I doubt they can fake the evidence that "seems: to support part of zimmerman's story. bloody nose and head and wet grass stains on his back.
That male wintess did speak to police at the scene. There are other witnesses who came forward and tell a different story even though they admit zimmerman yelled at them to call the police.
let the investigation coninue and everyone who is agitating should stop
This is end to end a sad story of 2 people being in the same wrong place at the same wrong time. NO way did Traylon deserve to get killed. if evidence points to Zimmerman cold bloodedly killing this young man zimmerman deserves the book trown at him. One of his closest freinds says evidence will tell a different story that the one being used by the agitatiors

The issue I have with this is the way some have used this to gin up hate toward another race. Jackson, Sharpton etc should have kept their mouth shut.
When the Black Panterhs put a 10k reward on the black men who killed the 6 y o black girl and wounded a 10 mon old baby ( as one example) like they put a reward on zimmerman I will come here and applaud the Black Panthers.

As of now all the protests and outrage over this one sad incident are designed to stir up animosity toward white people.
 
There is also alot of sloppy reporting, or incomplete data.

Some articles are saying that Zimmerman was approached from behind, some say the kid got in his path. Both things could happen but it is not clear how.

His head was slammed on the sidewalk, but there were grass stains on his back. Again, totally possible, but not clear exactly how this is the case. The police reports should be a matter of record, open to the public, so the media shouldn't have to guess too much.

It may be that there are separate reports from the witnesses, so that the Zimmerman police report has only his statements on it.
 
The problem here is Zimmerman didnt mind his own business, saw a black person with a hoodie and thought he was suspicious and then followed him. If Trayvon attacked Zimmerman, it was because Zimmerman put himself in that situation. Shooting and killing Trayvon after following the kid should result in his going to jail.
 
More judge and jury folks here.

Come on. How about we let the authorities do their job. Clearly the facts are slowly coming to light.
 
Sounds like trayvon was a druge user slamming Zimmerman's head into the concrete. I see nothing to dispute those facts. The closest witness, and the school records show it.
 
Sounds like Martin was followed by a dumbass who had a gun, had ignored the police, and who had previously had an altercation with the police. Maybe he had a reason to fell threatened by such a person.

Having an empty baggy at school is hardly reason to be followed and then shot by the neighborhood watch guy.
 
I don't care what color you are, walk through my neighborhood with a hoodie on or pants to the ground or just acting a fool and I will call 911. I follow you until the police show up and I do have multple guns. I will not hesitate to pull the gun if threatned or attacked. If attacked, I will shoot to kill, I don't give a dam what color you are!!
 
We keep seeing the pic on TV that shows Martin when he was 12 years old. I've just seen pics of him that shows him looking like a young man. He was 6'3 and weighs 160 lbs. He is still skinny but is the media doing this on purpose to make it look like he is just a tiny little kid that is pre-teen?

Not saying what happen makes it okay because he's 17 instead of 12, but just pointing out how the media is doing everything that can to stir this up as much as possible.

A quick search and while this in no way excuses any actions if Zimmerman is indeed guilty of the initial allegations, but it certainly paints a very different picture.

And I see race hustler Al Sharpton is going to lead a ' protest" in front of city hall in Sanford on Easter week end until he gets arrested or they arrest Zimmerman.

No no race hustling going on here.
Sharpton hasn't been this excited the Duke case fell apart and he had to shut up.
