My point was that they were irrelevant to player development, coaching, etc. Also, to he honest, I do not think a new locker room was needed. I think a lot of athletics spending by most schools is a waste of money that ultimately does not make much difference. Anyway, “more support” and “fancy lockers” are not why he lost to Kansas.

I'm not defending any coach here.
My point is, the upgrade in facilities and hi-tech lockers are supposed to dazzle recruits and help in getting them to play here.
If that is true then they are at least indirectly responsible for more wins.
If you have better players to coach then you win more games.
